I have a question that needs to be answered if somebody can help me out i'd appreciate it. All I read is that Hatton was to small for Floyd, (eventhough Floyd is naturally smaller) and that Floyd is picking on the smaller guys. Yet when Floyd goes up WAY out of his prime weight he gets no credit for beating Del La Hoya, and I understand that it wasn't a prime Del la Hoya, but Del La Hoya is naturally way bigger than Mayweather. Why the double standard?????? or is Mayweather just screwed

Haters gonna hate no matter what Floyd does. He's fought in 5 weight classes. There is no excuse for Hatton getting Ko'd like that lol.
Hatton walks around at 175 between fights. Mayweather is the smaller fighter, the weight advantage would actually be Hattons.

Yeah the same people that say that about Hatton being to small and out of his weight class want Mayweather to fight HUGE welterweights like margarito and williams. Definetly a double standard

Well, he took 10 rounds to defeat a complete and utter bum, who is the most over rated fighter in history.
Hatton does not even take boxing lessons they [Mayweather fans] tell me.
This cannot speak well for Mayweather.
He should retire in disgrace - just cut his losses.

I can answer that for you. It is impossible for normal people to give him credit. Mayweather fans are so pathetic, that they don't make sense. They downgrade all of his opponents to be bums, and then expect Mayweather to be considered the greatest of all time when he beats these "bums".
Also, take tonight for example. I actually bet money on Floyd, AND WON... SO I WAS HAPPY. Yet, I am considered a hater because I feel like Hatton was winning at the halfway point. Mayweather's fans make it impossible to give him the credit he deserves on this board, because they automatically put all of the normal fans on the defense when discussing him. So, eventually the normal fans get irritated and it becomes a pissing match between the two.

Thats a good point, never thought about that but yea your right. Right now Floyd is fighting OUT OF HIS PRIME WEIGHT, and he's still basically dominating. I just dont see how Hatton is to small for Mayweather but Mayweather is perfect size for Margarito, Williams, and Cintron. All three of those guys probably naturally outweigh Mayweather by 20-25 IBS.

I dont' agree at all I'm a Mayweather fan and I give him all the credit in the world that he deserves, and if there are Mayweather fans that downgrade his opponents then your right they are dumb, but its usually the haters that always have double standards when they talk about Floyd and sometimes that gets annoying, but oh well it is what it is I guess
