View Full Version : A lot of 'Hatton pushed Mayweather to brilliance' and 'best fight of his life' talk.

He took him to deep waters and knocked him out with accurate punches. I didn't see anything particularly brilliant, just Mayweather at his usual consistent high level. When Hatton was physically strong early, he was able to stay in the fight, and later on he couldn't.

He did the same against Oscar, who was just a little too big and conscious of what was happening to risk being embarrassed.

Anyway, I didn't find what happened last night PBF 'stepping up his game.'

I just think Hatton gassed out with all respect to Mayweather...He would have took those shot better in the beginning of the fight but i mean, thats boxing at his best...

Strange that but I actually thought that Floyd got involved in lots of exchanges, purley because Hatton was pressuring the fight.

Floyd didn't have much choice but throw back, and he did that perfectly. Im sure that Mayweather could have danced to an easy UD, but credit to Hatton put himself in front of Mayweather to be hit to give himself a chance of victory.

Good fight from both guys.
