The vast majority of MMA fighters come from other disciplines such as Sambo, Judo, BJJ, Wrestling, Muay Thai etc etc

There are many Olympic caliber competitors in MMA.

People keep complaining about a sport, that does have a section in this forum by the way, and I can't figure out why. True, but the only thing sad about it is that they falsely claim to be doing "martial arts." This crap is nothing more than street fighting, plain and simple. Anybody can do it, and anybody is whom you usually see.
