I think i said about round 4.
I knew Mundine would just toy with him for a couple rounds before stepping it up.

Soliman KO'd this opponent... Soliman!!!

I don't know what the biggest joke is - Mundine fighting a guy like this or WBA actually sanctioning the fight as a "world titlefight"???

Was it PPV down under?

Mate what I would like to know is who really did Order this lol because the people who did seem to have be afraid to put their hands up and say to the world YES I BOOKED THIS!

I would watch almost any fight but i gave this fight a total miss, Not even worth a trip to the nearest pub.

I would have headed to the pub, but i was stuck at work & didnt see this card as a good enough reason to call in a sickie.:yep

Straight after the bell Clav jumped on him and opened a cut over Mundines good eye with a head clash and the doctors stepped in. Mundine was allowed to fight but on and stopped him the next round.

Was very entertaining to say the least. Def not a good showing by Mundine. I wouldnt favour hm against any top 10 fighter at the moment.

I buy lots of PPV but no way i was buying this.

Did you see that Bigshotcamp, what a fool, falling over and acting stupid, he shouldnt be aloud to box again.

I wish i saw Choc wobbled, they didnt show that on the news.

Are you serious. Choc was never wobbled, Clavero barely landed a clean punch and it was Clavero that got cut by a punch. It looked like a sparring session, Choc showed no intensity at all and seemed to be going at about 50%. Terrible opponent though and definitely dogged it - I don't believe he was badly hurt. This fight gave no indication as to Mundine's form at the moment.

In a predictably poor card the Kane Mckay v Daniel Baff draw was a ripper. I was surprised by how well McKay fought. Baff would have been a hot favourite. Haumono looks terrific but who can tell until he fights someone who can remain vertical for a few rounds

Mundine Vs Clavero was a joke, enough said.

i thaught Mailata could have put on a better performance against Haumono, hes to small to be a heavyweight but he can crack. his problem is he stands right in front of you there to be hit! didnt see the fight but im quessing by the result he was obviously hit and hit well!

Haumono should fight US/NZ heavyweight Chauncy Welliver. Welliver wont be intimidated by Haumono, he wanted to fight Haumono not to long ago but Haumono's people turned us down!

mundine vs calzaghe in nov 08 mundine wins ud

Fuck that wasn't half predictable. Choc vs Wlad Klit in 2008 mate who wins? Wlas has the height, reach, power, strength, and technical ability. But Choc is the man. Can he do it?

Question is mate does Joe even know or Care about mundine? People who think he would truly waste his time fighting Mundine are just dreaming mate. Joe will fight Hopkins beat him and when Roy Jones beats tito then both Jones and Calzaghe will fight.

who was the commentator who kept calling the right hand that put him down for "picture perfect left hook"???

other than that I really didn't see much to impress - Kessler get hit much more than he should be against an opponent of that level ... Kessler refound uppercut is going to put The Man down...

That's an academic question... as Kessler will stop him next time out or "just" outbox him more convincingly :)

mundine has just come off a short break with 2 operations. shoulder and eye. i cant blame him for his choice of opponent this time. but he better step up in his next fight, and not against someone he has slready beaten!!!!!!!!!! (green)

he brags about fighting the best, about being the best. well big mouth, we expect you to BACK UP YOUR BIG MOUTH WITH R.E.S.U.L.T.S, not idle boasting. thats why aussies are contemptuous of you! either fight the best and prove it. or shut the fuck up and stick to making money fighting safe apponents. (which is really your focus)

Good post mate :good

Kessler never make excuses to meet tomatoecans. he will go for the best everytime, don't you ever compare them, Mouthdine is chasing the money, Kessler the glory!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!No but he sure likes to make excuses for when he doesn't win, or even win in his desired fashion. Pretty weak if you ask me to leak out an injury story before the fight, roll with the fight anyway, then use it as an excuse to fall back on if things don't go your way. Kessler has done this against Mundine, Beyer (not that he needed to, but he did have the rib injury excuse ready just in case), and now Calzaghe.

Also, I don't, and never have advocated Mundine's poor choice of opponents. Get your facts straight.

So we're to blaim Kessler for not calling of fights when he has a small injury?

Against Mundine there was no doubt - anybody who seen him fight before or after could see he was out of fitness.

As for Beyer - he boxed with a bend rib - many did that and now Kessler too.

I don't know which injury he had for the Andrade fight...

Against Calzaghe he had a hand injury in sparring (for which he has since had surgery) - the rumour came out before the fight risking a career high payday for Kessler. Kessler has pointed out again and again that the hand injury did not affect his performance in the fight. Team Palle has pointed out several times that his hand injury wasn't to blaim. Calzaghe was simply better on that night!

Don't mistake some Kessler-supporters exuses with Kessler - he has only made an exuse i connection with the Mundine-fight - and I have no reason what so ever to doubt that one - it was pretty obvious ... and he still won...

As for exuses - wasn't it Mundine's bad ankle that made him lose to Siaca???
