right im goin mexico on a 2 week vacation but i ve decided to check out some gyms while im there and see if they will let me spar what do you think im from england. or wont the mexicans really appreatiate a british white boy walking in there gym wanting to spar.

good luck! i want to get good and go to mexican area to see because i heard a few friends say mexican boxers are mostly really good in bob and weave(something i sux in but also something i would like to do =)

Rather you than me lol , but im not very experienced lol. Yeh good luck youll probably encounter a bit of predjudice and they wont think much of you , so prove them wrong do it for england , do it for the queen, do it for churchill, do it for bacon sarnies.

I don't know how good you are, but be careful. You know going to a strange gym if you cannot hold your own can get you beat up. I don't suggest this unless you are good. Even at that, this is a lose lose situation. Going without a coach, which I assume, makes you look cocky like you are disrespecting them. Maybe it would be better just to visit and work out without sparring.

You're right, I also wonder if they would even let someone off the street train/spar. Things may be different there from here, but I cannot see any of the clubs I've trained in letting someone just walk in and spar. If you've got an AIBA passport, bring it just in case. It might help.

oh they will gladly let you spar Get ready for 4 minute rounds with 30 sec rest

make sure you call them a pendejo before you touch glove, it means good luck.

travalling is a great way of getting good sparring partners

you can find alot of sparring partners but fighting guys who you have never met or trained with.

me and a couple of mates go to gyms round the country as a tour you know have a little holiday go to dublin or glasgow or york for a weekend have a train with other people is great fun and great expereince.


going to mexico seems alot but thats a great chance to see how people from around the world.
