Setanta got rights for Cotto-Judah.

Why they are not shwoing Wlad v Brewster I do not know.

Because Seconds Out .com bought the rights to Wlad next 3 fights.

Why do Sky suck, and yet they have the widest variety of UK boxing? We got DLH PBF for free.

I thought Sky had a non exclusive deal whereby they purchase fights on an individual fight by fight basis? Something ITV are currently looking at?

Why does nobody ever start a thread slagging off the BBC for their boxing coverage?

Yeh its simple match by match basis and sky were outbid. Sort of like Match of the Day and ITV's The Premiership. Only time will tell if it pays off for Setanta, until then be prepared to have some fights go to Setanta.

Skysports suck because the coverage they give us is minimal bearing in mind unlike any of the other channels they are supposed to specialise in sport. Sky along with ****** have ruined boxing in the Uk by making silly decisions about what fights to cover. Now we have a heavyweight division which is meant to be the focal point for the sport for armchair fans full of random guys who nobody knows. I don't critcise the BBC because they don't attempt to rip me off by claiming they cover boxing then givin me the shite that sky have provided for the last 5 years.

Damm good point but i am actually quite happy with the friday fight night stuff they show whether its a big name or not. It would be nice to see the delayed fights they are showing live though such as the maliagnaggi and sylvester recent fights. Setanta do not seem to be giving much indication of what is coming up.

My personal favorite channel for boxing is Eurosport, they usually show obscure matches but they are give it a lot of effort.

BBC do not show any boxing which is shit especially when you consider they are currently showing three weeks of rain.

Sky buy the rights off the promoter not the Network, for instance they deaL with people like Top Rank and people like that, not HBO.
