don't know if this is a good or bad thing but when i see Josh Barnett being all happy and shaking hands to alex...it's bad news for an eventual fedor vs barnett fight.

(maybe he's too much of a "good friend" of the emelianenkos ) ....it would be like asking for a shogun vs wanderlei fight. Or maybe it doesn't change anything...(afterall fights such as kharitonov vs aleksander and Barnett vs aleksander took place in pride fc )

Fedor mentioned that they are good friends but if they put him against Barnett that friendship is gona have to go away at least for some time.

Didn't they say he was a Div. 1 wrestlling champ though? Shitty fighter or not, that's one thing he should be able to do well.

There's 2 concepts. He might be an experienced wrestler but he's a shitty fighter. He lost before the fight started. Many experienced wrestlers/fighters will see that in the other person, someone like widowmaker would probably confirm that.
When someone lost before the fight started even his best technique will seem luckluster.

Really, I thought that Fedor and Barnett didnt get on, just posted it in another thread infact, maybe I'm wrong.

And Bobish was a D3 champ, not D1, Aleks is just better in pretty much every way.

Well, I don't exactly update on that, so I'm speaking from a one and half year old fact. Perhaps they're not anymore, I do not exclude that possibility.

No, at that very same event, there were pictures of Fedor and Barnett talking to one another.

I remember on Sherdog there was a thread about it and how nice Fedor's coat looked.

Thank You for the video. Decent submission. Those arm-in guillotines are tougher too secure.

I should get some of those Russian counter culture tattos. Not being a poser, This would facilitate traveling to Russia, picking a fight with some Georgian shop keepers ( How hard could that be? ). Then serving my automatic five years logging in the Taiga.

On second thought: Probably not a good idea in the long run. Besides, who will feed my cat while I am gone? How about ufcalf or Beebs...:yep
