I am pretty sure I watched the fight, but remind me as to why you think he should have been DQed. Was due to his kidney punching?

Kidney punching, low blows, elbows, etc...I think he hit him after the bell too, but my copy goes straight to the commercial once the bell ends.

I'm used to seeing guys bend the rules, I expect them to do so, but this was just on another level.

By definition, Pedroza is one of the dirtiest fighters of all time.

He also pulled out "all stops" on Rocky Lockridge, in 2 fights.

He was from Panama......and WBA Panamanian officials dominated the
organization at that time.

So as a WBA Champ, he pretty much did what he wanted to in
the ring.
