Mighty Mo will fight K-1 Dynamite Dec 31 vs Sergei Kharitonov

I think Kharitonov should be able to submit him in the first.
But never underestimate the one dimensional Mighty Mo...that guy has at least 1 or 2 qualities about him....He's got a solid chin and he's got crazy KO power.

and Kharitonov sometimes blocks punches with his chin...so who knows...
should be interesting though..

I don't know how well Kharitonov's new "face parry" technique for blocking punches is going to work out for him here.

he had a perfect technic in his fight against rizzo though..
(not blocking with his face , but actually moving his head , dodging punches etc..)

but yeah , he usually blocks punches with his face. so anything can happen cause mighty mo hits really hard...

Yeah, that was 2 and a half years and 2 shoulder breaks ago. I'm afraid Sergei will never live up to his potential. He can still beat a lot of guys, but I once had him pegged as "the" guy. Now he kind of looks fat and sloppy. Mike freaking Russow gave him some trouble, for goodness sake. Oh well. He should still beat Might Mo, but I've got a bad feeling about it.

How hard does Mo actually hit? Iv seen this guy hit heavies with grazing power and the force literally seems absolutely tremendous.Either shoudl be an entertaining bout.

Well, Jerome LeBanner hit Choi square in the face about 100 times with power crosses last weekend, and Choi walked out of the ring. LeBanner is no feather fist. Mo hit Choi once, and Choi hit the canvas and was on another planet for several minutes. He's like a newer, fatter, harder hitting Hunt without such a stunning chin.

I wouldn't be surprised in the least if Kharitonov outstrikes Mo. Mo is basically a mid level boxer with alot of power.

Mo JUST got stopped by leg kicks a few days ago, doesn't defend them particuarly well, there is no way in hell they will be even close to fully recovered by the 31st, and Kharitonov really lands some hard leg kicks. He is probably also the more accurate boxer .

Of course, if he is smart, he will just take him down and sub him in short order.

yeah he is very one dimensional...but at the same time..if he gets lucky..and hits you...you never know what to expect...he's got sick power that's for sure.

I believe Kharitonov finally got with a real fight camp too, and has trained with Golden Glory for this fight for the past few months. RTT has all but dissolved and he was basically just free lancing it at sambo and boxing gyms. Hopefully his conditioning has improved.

The potential for disaster definitely exists from a Kharitonov perspective.

Also, have you seen how his right hands destroyed Botha? Botha has hung in there with some hard hitting boxers, and Mo just melted him with every right hand that he threw.
