Aldo Colliander refused to fight Fonte Solis this friday 06 - July at Hamburg. Of course that Colliander refused because he knows how good is Solis , he will become world champion and is normal to afraid from him sad Ahmet Oner.
Who will be we will learn at friday ? I think this time will be some easy opponent, because dont have time to found one good.

Cuban heavy Odlanier Solis will apparently now fight Vitaly Shkraba from Belorus. Last week it seemed as if Swedish heavy Aldo Colliander would accept an offer to step in against Solis and Aldo is in Hamburg now but talks appears to have ended at that. At welter Russian Sergey Sorokin clash against Croatian Ante Bilic in a solid matchup that effectively is an Arena eliminator.

Shkraba has been stopped 10 times in his career. Too bad that Coliander did not want the fight, but I think that he did the right decision. He would had had no chance.

At the homepage of arena box-promotion it is reported, that Colliander would have fought Solis, but he requested a purse that was too high.

Lets be glad he´ll not fight him, cos judging by the Bidenko fight Colliander is a complete bore to watch, an all negative spoiler, awkward no doubt, but simply lacking the guts to go where the hurt is and lacking the technical skills to outsmart the opponent.
I wouldnt have minded watching Solis knock out that African big mouth within 2 rounds.
I guess that it is terribly difficult to find suitable opponents for the hard-punching Cuban.
Solis shouldnt have been matched in his second outing to a ring against someone like Mazikin.Haha! Now Solis' reputation as a one round ko killer scares off any decent journeyman.

Solis vs. Colliander is on!! :happy Nice! I bet Colliander will be a bigger thread than Sidon and Petkovic. He will last a big longer, and i hope he will! It would be nicxe to see Solis go 2-3 rounds at least. You cant really judge him about his 2 first verry quick fights where he won with the first hard shot he landed.

This is the third opponent of Solis' that has also fought Taras Bidenko in the last 18 months . Are they trying to work a Solis v Bidenko match in the future ?

I am confident on Solis that he will win with KO again.May be Colliander is better than Mazikin so first he can be damage but he continues to his road.

Colliander is a KO waiting to happen. Solis is good but he is also getting good matchmaking. Expect Colliander to try and run but get stopped a competent boxer.

Nice to see Aldo coming in out of shape at 240 and Solis still coming in out of shape at 256.

Good for them that this is just a 4 round bout....
Solis has to lose 20 pounds at least.

Well Solis can fight Butterbean to determine who is the king of the four rounders.

Thanks unitas :good
I cant stand that African bigmouth Colliander.I very much hope that Solis knocks him out within the very first round.Well,to be fair,Colliander is a decent fighter.Props to Solis for taking on such an foe in his third pro fight.
Pure madness to match Solis so toughly.
First Sidon, then Mazikin, and now Colliander.By the way anyone noticed that those aforementioned names can be found among Bidenko's skalps?
Who will be Solis' next opponent? Richel Hersisia?
Whatever happens, we can be sure Collainder is about to break his hand, even if the fight doesn't last a round. :yep

Odo it has occured to me that these men are rated highly due their fights with Bidenko. Bidenko, however, is clearly not looking that good. I mean he barely beat Hersisia and his reputation is based off of looking good against a still side show Valuev and winning against Virchis until getting decapitated. Let's also keep in mind that Solis was a top amateur for Cuba for eight or nine years and he turned pro at 27.
