I believe Zahir Raheem and Joshua Clottey are just two contenders who need there shots at good things. Zahir Raheem has beaten everyone he has fought except Acelino Freitas and Rocky Juarez. But if anyone watched the fights they would know that he actually beat Juarez, and in my opinion he beat Freitas as well. He also beat a well notable opponent, Erik Morales. He has only fought 4 figters with losing records. He has great boxing skills, which is why I think alot of fighters are not to enthuased about getting in the ring with him. Notables he could fight, and probably beat are Juan Diaz, Julio Diaz, Joel Casamayor, Nate Campbell, & Almazbek Raiymkulov. GIVE HIM A SHOT PLEASE!!!!

Joshua Clottey 31-2-0 (19) should be 33-0-0 (19)
Joshua Clottey is a very talented boxer, pretty well rounded fighter, love his impersonation of the Micky Ward left to the head then left to the body. Hasn't really fought the best of fighters but that's why he needs a shot at some of the top contenders. He has beaten a notable warrior, Diego Corrales and was beating Carlos Baldomir in there bout, and was also defeating Antonio Margarito until he injured his hand. Possible oppurtunities for him, he could beat Sharmba Mitchell, Luis Collazo, Kermit Cintron, Antonio Margarito (again) & Carlos Baldomir (again). He would anhilate Arturo Gatti. He would make good fights against Zab Judah, Paul Williams, Miguel Cotto (love to see!!!) & possibly Shane Mosley. GIVE HIM A SHOT PLEASE!!!!!!!!!

I think Clottey is very good...Raheem is very talanted - not the most exciting fighter, but he can compete and beat many of the top lightweights.

Raheem seems to think too highly of himself. He's turned down at least one good offer and basically sat around doing nothing most of the team. Considering that he is very much a fan-unfriendly fighter, he needs to take what he can get.

He is definitely slick and difficult to fight, though.

Might I also add Felix sturm to the mix 28-2-0 (12), great jab & good boxing ability. Bye the way he beat De la Hoya, he got robbed. Has pretty much only lost once. that was to Castillejo.

I have no problem giving these fighters credit . . . especially Clottey who is the most exciting among the three mentioned.

For Rahim and Sturm . . . they need to go up another level and try to secure big profile fights.

Sturm is a good smart fighter. Not entertaining in the slightest though. Just like Raheem and Clottey. I blame the promoters. He should have a better nickname then "Hitter". These guys are the unsunk heroes, but do not have the marketing appeal. We seen this all before.lol:-(
