Tiny gloves are relatively fair for both parties (Foreman was never a master glove-blocking technician anyway, and Fitz's defence was built around tiny gloves or bareknuckles).

Foreman sends Fitzsimmons to the hospital for a couple of days unless the referee stops the beating in round 1.

I agree with his size and power that Foreman would catch Fitz, but I dont see it happening as early as rd.1

I cannot picture anything other than a complete mauling here.

By his own admission, Jeffries was simply too big and strong for Fitz to handle. Foreman was considerably slower than Jeff, so the Cornishman might get into the later rounds. However, he wouldn't make George exert himself much in doing so, and Foreman would eventually put Fitz down for the count. If Robert couldn't hurt his opponent, he could have a rough time of it. He did decision George Gardner over 20 rounds just after he turned 40 to claim the LH Title, so he could box for a decision win, but George would nail Fitz sooner or later, then it would be over quickly.
