Obviously Haye has transcended Macarenelli by beating 'the man' and becoming the genuine champion of the division but I do not consider the gap between these two as wide as some on here.

No becasue he is WBO champion so he is not in the other rankings. So he is going to have to wait them to have a fight between the number 1 and 2 and then wait for them to have a mandatory so it would be at least a year before Macca fought for those belts.

When Grandpa Sellers was rejected as an opponent by the BBBC, Wilson publicaly stated that he is willing to go to UK, fight Macca for peanuts and give ****** options. If Wilson is so crap as you point out, then why wouldnt Macca fight him then? Instead he chose to fight another no name opponent.

What? Prime Thompson, yes. Not the version that fought Haye. Thompson wasnt all that when he ofught Haye, David simply gassed himself out going for big shots. He dominated the fight, but gassed. Wayne wouldve been able to outwork the cat and sustain educated pressure to win a UD. Fragomeni doesnt beat him either, what fight have you seen that suggested he does?
Briathwaite was top 2 cruiser till Mormeck outpointed him. I gave mormeck the fight by 3 rounds, and thats a better verison of Mormeck than Haye fought (admitedly a better verison of Wayne than Macca foguht too).

For the person who mentioned the fearsome Gunn, Adamek is fighting him next...
