Does anyone know the exact address of Tom Spring's Castle Tavern on High Holborn, London? It's mentioned in lots of old literature but I can't find the street number. I'd like to see what's there in its place.

I do know where Tom Cribbs old pub is.

My old local in Bristol (The Old Hatchet) used to host bare knuckle bouts. It was used for training by both Cribb and Sayers.

Thanks Janitor, I'll have a quick look at that one on Google earth and other places. I haven't been to Bristol for 10 years or so.

Has that place been rebuilt or is there any chance it's the original building?
