With the continuing success of Irish professional boxing, the promoter Brian Peters has secured a TV deal with RTE which will show more live fights on the Irish terrestrial channel. These broadcasts will include Andy Lee, John Duddy and the return of Bernard Dunne.Paul McCloskey is also on the verge of fighting for the British title.
Also Peters is in talks with Ray Hatton [father and manager of Ricky], to bring the Hitman over to Dublin to fight in a major promtion in the summer. This would be huge for Irish boxing, to a have a star of Hattons magnatude boxing on Irish soil.

Is there any Irish fight fans out there that want to help to contribute to this thread. We can make it a forum within a forum. It obviously has to be about Irish Boxing. We can keep each other informed about what's the latest going on in the wonderful world of Irish professional and amateur boxing. Basically all you have to do is read the papers or other web-sites, and pass on anything you deem relevant.

Hello lads, I will get the show on the road, so to speak.

Andy Lee next fight could be in Limerick on the 2nd Febuary. This will be another Brian Peters Promotion, and the bout will be shown live on RTE2. A perspective opponent could be, no other than Howard Eastman. Obvious comparisons will be made between the Duddy performance and how Lee deals with the 37 year old former European,Commonwealth and British champion, and world title challenger.

I was well impressed with the couple of fights I have seen Lee fight.
I will likely be in Ireland in Feb. if it is at the same time I will definitely go to this fight it I can get a ticket. It is great that RTE has simulcast the fights on the net recently, I am beginning to think this internet thing might catch on.

I have grown interested in Irish boxing, mainly because RTE is cool enough to broadcast their fights live on the internet. I was really starting to like Bernard Dunne, but there's been no news of him lately. It's fun watching Irelands fights on RTE, being completely truthful I've never seen a dull fight they show. Duddy's fun to watch and they showed Andy Lee last week. Who is the other Middle Weight that is starting to shine (sorry can't remember his name) and I believe he fought on the undercard of the last Duddy fight they showed. He seemed like somebody fun to watch as well. As seen on RTE the Irish fans show up in big numbers to support their fighters and it's always a good show.

really have a great feeling about dungiven boy paul mccloskey, although i am often concerned about his style, very unorthodox!felt gutted for haughian 2 weeks ago,was probably a fair decision though.
about duddy cuttin down to 154,not a bloody chance in hell, yea he stays around 170 out of fights and is always fit,but he doesnt have much more he could cut, middleweight is a much more profitable and interesting proposition.would be insane if peters could get duddy to the kings hall for march 16th/17th,lets just hope vanda doesnt cut him up!

macklin is very much irish, played for tipp u-21s hurling, great prospect and very similar to duddy, except he finds much more angles,i honestly think he'd beat duddy at this moment.
andy lee needs nobody else to say anything about him,hes doing all he can in the ring and im sure will be a superstar in the next 5 years!

well played to brian peter, its bringing passion and fire back into the irish person not seen since the days of collins and long may it continue to do so!

Haha, would if I could ardy, but I'm in New Zealand. Awesome seeing this thread tho. I'll do what I can from down under.

Does anyone know Phil Connor from Ringsport in Belfast? I'm recently getting boxing stuff from him. Great guy to work with.

RTE 2 is a great channel, I have seen Duddy and Lee for the 1st time thanks to it!

I brought John O'Sullivan out from Cork a couple of years back to make his debut to pro boxing in NZ, he won his fight at ABA Stadium in Auckland then went home and died in a car smash. The crowd loved John in Auckland, lot of irish here. I still keep in touch with his mom.

Sad story, broke me up. John had his last Christmas dinner with my wife and I. :think

Not all bad tho, John, like me, liked Murphys and Guinness. We hit a few bars when he was here.

I'm a big fan of Irish fighters on both sides of the pond. However, the day of the irish American fighter is over and im glad we can make a home for Irish fighters like Duddy and Lee. I go to all of Duddy's fights in Ny and the atmosphere is top notch. I also met Lee in a bar in Ny and he is a real gentleman. If he were based in a northeast city like Boston his popularity would be off the scales. If you guys have not see the clasjh between Irish American Micky Ward and Irishman from Liverpool Shea Neary you should definatly check io out its a toe to toe war. I hope Lee and Duddy keep up the winning tradition.

Shamrock, We need guys from Down-under to keep us up-dated about, the Irish, Irish-Australian or Irish-Kiwi fighters who are fighting there. I know Dublin duo Dean Bryne and Paul Griffin are fighting out of Sydney.

Shamrock, I lived in Sydney for a while, when I was younger. I had some great nights in the Irish bars there. The Mercantile was one of my favorite hunts.I remember one Sunday night rushing out the Merchantile, because I had to work in the morning and I needed to get the train home. As I came out of the bar, although I had seen this view before, it just dawned on me, f##k I'm in the other side of the world. The view was the Sydey bridge and the Opera House. It was a strange moment, fuelled by too, much too much drink.

I remember Sean Mannion well. I remember sitting up one Friday night in 1984 to watch Mannion fight Mike "The Body Snatcher" Macallum for the vacant light-middleweight title. although it was one way traffic for Mike, Mannion was a real tough nut.Hagler fought Hamsho on the same promotion that night.
Mannion now is back home in Mayo traianing pros at his gym. He trains new pro John Sweeney 2-0[1TKO] and the Trimlin brothers.

IRISH HEAVYWEIGHT PROSPECT FIGHTS IN CORK

Lisburns 6ft 7" goliath Scott Belshaw has his first outing since his car accident in July of this year, when he boxes at Corks Neptune Stadium on January 26th.The unbeaten 22 year old prospect with 6 wins [5TKO] has had a frustrating 6 months while he waited for his broken kneecap to heal and is eager to "push on" with his career, and maintain a busy schedule for 2008.
Former professional boxer Paschal Collins [brother of Steve] throws his hat into the "promotional ring", when he promotes for the first time. Paschal also trains and manages Billy Walsh, who headlines this show.
Walsh a Corkonian, fights Belfasts James Gorman for the vacant Irish welterweight title.
Dublin duo Jonathon "The Thunderbolt" O' Brien and undefeated Patrick Hyland, along with Cork welterweight newcomer Gary O'Sullivan make up the rest of the undercard.

Hello Healy, my pal Iceman thanks the same, but as I told him, Lee is yet to prove himself in the way Duddy has. Duddy has had 2 tough fights [Campos and Eastman]. In both these contests, Duddy had "to suck it up" to win, Lee is yet to encounter a contest like that, and until he does and comes through it successfully, then I will consider him our best prospect.

Where abouts in Ireland do you live?

HI, Shamrock. Who do you think will win if Green and Mundine fight again.

Hey ardy, I don't really think Green wants to fight Mundine again. He was just making noise to attract attention to the fact to Australians that he is the WBA Light heavyweight champ not Mundine. He sticks that up Mundine as well. He would have a chance with Mundine if Mundine has impaired vision, otherwise he gets beat again. I like Green and I hoped he would win last time these two fought, but Mundine is something else and has too many smarts. Green should make money while he has the belt, but don't risk it with Mundine unless he has to.

I hadn't noticed this thread till now . Brian Peters has been working wonders for boxing in Ireland , his partnership with Bernard Dunne brought a revival and getting RTE on board helped grab the publics attention .

Some of the ratings RTE have gotten for fights is fantastic(Dunne got over 250,000 after midnight while fighting an Argentinian journeyman in Italy and well over half a million watched his fights with Pickering and Martinez) .

I assume Duddy and Lee have gotten good viewing figures too(otherwise RTE wouldn't have made a deal for an increased number of cards) .

With its popularity here Ireland could easily become one of Europe's hotspots for boxing , only trailing the larger markets of Germany , Italy , France and the UK .

Although Martinez was wrong to come in above the agreed weight. It was a non-title fight, and he only came in 1 3/4 over weight. No one asked McCullough to come 4 lbs below the weight. I'm a McCullough fan, but Wayne and his wife made complete fools of themselves at the weight-in, when they started argueing with a well respected 78 year old journalist called Jack Magowan. At one point during the arguement McCullough actually pushed the senior citizen.Disgraceful behavior.

Was at the Dunne Pickering fight. great night. Pity about what happened. The only way he can get back his former standing is by fighting Martinez again imo.

Havent seen Duddy s last few fights but the last time I saw him i thought that blocking punches with his face wasnt going to win him a world title. very exciting to watch

as for Lee ppl are really hyping this guy up unbelievably. He s being brought along nicely but it s still early days. Would love to see him go all the way.

Havent been following Irish boxing as much as Im living in Buenos Aires but when I come home ill make it my business to go to all the fights.

Is Paul McCloskey the dark horse of Irish boxing

Dungivens Lightwelter prospect Paul McCloskey believes he's ready to step into the ring with Englands British and European Champion Colin Lynes. The County Derry boy [ he happens to be close friends with John Duddy] has come on leaps and bounds since promoter Brian Peters has "taken over the reins" of his career. The County Meath Promoter has kept Paul busy, and now the 28 year old McCloskey has found himself appearing on RTE2 on a regular basis.
There has been speculation that Peters will attemp to lure Lynes to Ireland to defend both his titles in what would be a another great night for Irish boxing. But first the 30 year old champion must make a defence of his European title in January.
Assuming Lynes defends successfully, Peters will then be opening talks with Matchroom [Lynes promters] to thrash out a deal. A veteran of 33 contests [ 3 defeats], Lynes is vastly more experienced than the undefeated McCloskey 14-0 [7TKOs] and would most certainly be a huge step up in class for the ambitious Irishman.
But in my opinion this is a fight McCloskey can win. And the ironic thing is, while all Irish fans are talking about Duddy, Lee and Dunne winning major titles,McCloskey may beat them to it.

I spent christmas eve building a tree house with my fater-in-law for my 6 year old daughter. Although I'm orginally from Ardoyne, i now live in the suburbs, hence the tree. It took us 7 f..king hours,it was freezing. I had ice for snot by the end of the day. Anyway I got drunk on Christmas, taking it easy today, and then tomorrow, I,m heading to the City Hibs [ were you ever in it during your student days, it's down by the Irish News offices in Donegal street]. It's all day session, bar and bookies [Welsh National and another lot of race meetings as well].

I will be attending although I hope he fights a better fighter than Vanda There really is nothing like the atmosphere of a Duddy fight at the "world's greatest arena", the combination of an exciting fighter and the big city make it electric. I went to the Campas, Cuevas, and Bonsante fights. I really hope Andy Lee is on the card. An irish american fighter who I believe is from Hells Kitchen named Mcdermott might be on the card. It will also be fun to see Wlad live plus he will draw a lot of Eastern European fans, which inevitably will fight with Duddy fans.

After Micky Ward retired I instantly began to follow Duddy from very early on his career, which I believe many Irish Americans are doing now. Duddy and Pavlik will be a big fight but I can't possibly see it being anywhere other than the east coast. By the way if your interested you can check out a new book called Irish Thunder the Hard Life and Times of Micky Ward if your interested in Irish American boxing. Yeah friend, Gary Keegan and Billy Walsh are doing a brilliant job with the high performance programe.
You talking about drinking Guinness down under reminds me of a story. I drank in a bar/hotel called the Allawah Hotel. It bordered Allawah and Hurstville in the suburbs of Sydney. About 50% of the clientele who drank in it were Irish.Well, we Irish hounded the owners of the bar to put Guinness on tap.I particapated in this campaign, even though I wasn't a Guinness drinker. The owner eventually succumbed to our demands, and put the guinness on tap. The next time I entered the bar, the barmaid smiled at me and automatically poured me a sconer of Guinness. Shamrock I had to soon learn how to enjoy our national drink, because I wasn,t getting anything else.:D

I had given praise to B. Dunne and wish him a strong come back, Matt Macklin (although neither has fought world level guys yet), and Duddy and Lee are looking tremendous. Please don't hate on Pavlik for no good reason, as you seem an extremely knowledgeable and sensible man.

Ardy - all the Irish fans support Duddy (except slutter) but they are just being realistic when they say they think Pavlik will beat Duddy. He just KTFO Taylor and Taylor is a way more polished boxer than Duddy.Duddy has tons of heart,a good chin and a good left hook which gives him a slight chance against Pavlik but no more than that.

Ardy I love John but I'm a realist , I'll support him all the way but he is limited and you shouldn't let bias cloud your judgement .
If someone said Ireland are gonna top their qualiying group for the 2010 World Cup they'd probably be called delusional.......yet that's more likely to happen than John beat Pavlik .

McCloskey v Lyons would be a very interesting fight , so hard to tell whether McCloskey's awkwardness would be the undoing of Lyons or whether Lyons simple style would be perfect to deal with Paul .

Lyons will have it tough against Branco next though and if Lynes wins I think he mgiht set his target on a World title , afterall Branco has only lost at World level himself .

I vowed never to drink southern comfort again though because I had the only auto accident in my life after a few of those and luckily got by the police sobriety check. As said before, If Duddy fights Pavlik Il try and get over there to cheer John on, inspite of the fact that I dont think he has a great chance of winning.

Well everyone is entitled to there point of view, as it is a forum. Do you not think that some of the Americans are whole-heartily behind Pavlik because he's their compatriot.:bbb
Anyhow when I made them comments, I was juiced up [a stomach full of beer and southern comfort].And I'm the first to admit my language could have been moderated some what.Growing up in Ardoyne Belfast makes one fiercely proud of their national identity and fiercely proud of their sporting heros.
By the way Duddy will still Ko Pavlik. UP THE IRISH:good

just reading the derry journal today and seen john duddy and paul mcloskey and the county derry boxing annual prizegiving, nice to see two local lads going back out to the community and sharing their knowledge with the up and comers, amateurs could learn a hell of a lot from john, inpsirational story,if he wins the world title i want a fucking film about it.

jim beam i always thought was a fine bourbon on par with that fine bourbon named jack daniel.jacks just more popular here so i always buy that.

just realising, trust us a thread to do with boxing and we end up talking about alcohol, only the irish,or maybe the scottish.

Cool!!! I didn't think (or know) Jim Beam was available/popular abroad. To me Jack Daniels is a sour mash whiskey, IMO different from bourbon (but that's IMO).

I remember Dave "boy" McAuley heading over to London to fight the then undefeated IBF flyweight champion of the world Duke McKencie. No-one gave him a chance that night. Well we all know what happened that night. Dave "boy" punched the champ all around the ring for 12 rounds.
It was the same story when Collins dethroned Eubank. One-one expected that victory also. When there's a will there's a way.

That would be a great idea. Belfast and the greater Belfast area has around 30 clubs, some have big membership numbers some haven,t. The Dockers, Holy Trinity and Holy Family Club travel extensively. They travel mostly to America and Britain, there's also a club from Cyprus comes to Belfast on a regular basis or vice a versa. It would be a great idea to bring a Belfast team to New Zealand.
But funding for such a trip as you have mentioned is the main problem. There's various grants available to fund projects like this[ all part of the peace process], but they can be difficult to obtain.
But if your anyway serious about this Shamrock,I could look into this more closely.

Andy Lee is a special and unique talent. Perhaps a white Thomas Hearns of sorts. Duddy is a tough scrapper and very entertaing and a good-looking son of a gun to boot. I have an Irish first and last name (although like most americans I am an ethnic mutt-Irish/Italian/German to be exact) so of course I want to see an Irish fighter make good. I would prefer an Irish-american but we have basically dropped out of boxing. The Irish hand grenade Marcus Davis from Maine is one tough son of a gun though. He fights in the UFC. I was such a huge Gerry Cooney fan that when he lost so pathetically to Spinks I was really distraught. I was at that fight. The Holmes loss I could accept, although Cooney could have beaten him too. Spinks was a guy that Cooney should have obliterated - hands down. His lackadaisical traing habits were frustrating to say the least. When we saw Cooney chilling in the lobby of Trump Plaza in June of 1987 leading up to the Spinks fight my crazy Greek friend went right up to Gerry and asked him: "Why aren't you training today?! We are coming to the fight and want to see you win." We were seniors in highschool and he did not know better. Cooney signed autographs for us and posed for pictures. Cooney had the size, the crippling power. Quarry had skills and guts but was outgunned against Ali, Frazier, Norton. But I will always be thankful to Cooney for almost decapitating Norton at the garden in May of 1981. Jerry Quarry was announcing and he could not hid his jubilation as Cooney resembled an axe murderer finishing off his victim. Norton had stated on the air in the dressing room before this match and I quote - "I seem to do well in this building against caucasian fighters." Mainly refering to his beatings of Duane Bobbick and Jerry Quarry. Well Ken was wrong this time huh?!!!!

I was a big fan of Cooney also. Being from Belfast we took great pride in an Irishman [ all be it an Irish-American] fighting for the heavyweight championship of the world.
If Jerry Quarry have had fought in any other era of heavyweight boxing,he would have been world champ. His destruction of Shavers is testament to that.

We have access to funding in NZ ardy, we intend to do a couple of trips to Australia this year as a team. Funding home tho would be immense, we not only work a Club tho, we have the Shamrock Association which might have more clout with the funding organisations. We just need the brains and time to get it in the process. We are so far away, but its imperative for NZ boxers to go further than Aust if we are to be able to compete at world standards. Basically we need Ireland and UK.

Ardy, I got to say that if Duddy Pavlik happens I might be leaning toward rooting for Pavlik. I have followed Duddy his entire career and gone to a lot of his fights, but his team is not giving any credibility to the sport. I understand getting a title shot the easist route possible, but they are carving a route that just disgraces the sport. I actually think his level of competion is decreasing. On the other hand you have Pavlik who has been in the trenches with tough tough contenders and knocked them all out including Taylor. You have to respect that. They are both gentleman, but one seems more legit than the other.

I wouldn't call it a disgrace as Duddy himself is very genuine but Team Duddy are certainly protecting their investment.I think it started after the Campas fight where Duddy really struggled at times.Turner has improved his defense and his last performance against Eastman was more convincing than the final score suggests.I think with the improvements under Turner Duddy would be ready to step up the competition but it just happens that Pavliks people have offered him a shot right now and it would be foolish to turn it down

I would perfere to see Duddy take on a bigger name on 23rd Feb, but it looks as if Duddy's team have a no-risk agenda, until he fights Pavlik.

Ardy - this Munoz guy is a bit of a joke.Check out his record on Boxrec.Duddy will beat him easily.Vanda would have been a better opponent

I have and Munoz is certainly not the toughest guy Duddy could have fought at this present time, but as you said yourself, Irish Ropes are protecting their investment. But on paper Munoz record does looks respectable.

Iceman, I got nothing respect for Duddy he has the heart of a lion. It is his team that is the problem. Your right they were actually matching him pretty tough until he fought Campas. I was a the Campas fight and alhtough the fight was close I believe it was his best performace to date. It showed his heart, desire, chin, and ability to come back and win a fight. Since then they have put the breaks on. I know boxing is about putting asses in seats which John does, but fighting Munoz then for the middlewight title is something thats hard to support. I tell you what Andy Lee will not be putting on the breaks this year.

Ml,in an ideal world Duddy should be fighting tougher to deserve a crack at the title, but Bob Arum wants Duddy, as he believes John will be an easy defence for Pavlik.

You guys no what going on with James Moore. Talk about a career that hit the breaks. He started his career late and has an extensive ameteur background, but after he split with Irish ropes he cant get any opponents. All his opponents have not helped him improve as a fighter. He should take a risk and fight someone where he is the underdog because he has the ability to make some noise in his division.

Ml, Moore is now being promoted by Celtic Promotions. They hope next year to push his career forward. Moore was speaking to a few guys I know in a bar shortly after one of his last fights. Moore said he felt ready for anyone in the lightmiddle division.

think we will all be trying our best to get over to the states for that one,it looks a fantastic card, and a great night for irish boxing on the undercard.i believe lee will knockout eastman if that is who he fights in feb in msg.duddy will KO munoz in the mid rounds and go on to have one more fight before challenging pavlik and becoming the new middleweight king.

afterwards, andy lee will say he can take duddy any time,by which a grudge championship fight will be set up for croke park in spring 2008 infront of 80000 irishmen, with the undercard featuring paul mccloskey defending his ebu belt in a rematch against lyons,at the bottom of the card, it will include bernard dunne fighting for the irish super bantamweight title against a newly turned pro with a record of 4-0.

:rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl

i do think duddy will beat pavlik though,i know pavlik has dynamite in each of his hands, but i believe we will see pavlik underestimating duddy and duddy putting in the performance of his life!

Sounds right unfortunately. they are so afraid of losing the 0 in the lost column. You can ruin a fighters confidence like this. fights like this aren't helping him prepare for Pavlic. Wonder what would have happened if he had stayed in "deeper water" right after Campas.

I just saw Yuri Forman win a decision over Tsurkian on cable last night. Forman boxes nice, good jab, Tsurkian, agressive but neither one looked like world beaters. Would love to see Moore in with either one. Hope he can really step it up this year.

Wonder if Macklin would ever consider fighting over here(states).

Also Craig McEwan looking good for the Scottish.

Cheers!

The thing is Duddy has great potential, and there is no need to protect him. I'm pretty confident when he does meet Pavlik, he will cause an upset.

For those of you critisizing Duddy's opponents the plan is to fight Munoz and have one more fight before Pavlik . That fight is expected to be for the European title against Sebastian Sylvester , which if it comes of would be more than enough of a test for Duddy to deserve his shot should he win .

Anyone got a prediction on when Henry Coyle will make it out of the 1st round in one of his fights ?

His team mentioned it several times(including on tv) after the win against Eastman that he would have a fight in America in Februrary and then hopefully take on Sebastian Sylvester a month later in March(in Belfast) .
Now I'm not sure they can lure Sylvester out of Germany , but it seems they do have genuine plans to face him .

Yeah Coyle needs to settle down and box, that should be his foundation. KO victories at this stage of his career are meaningless unless lessons are learnt. Good luck to him anyway.

Everything depends on the Castillejo - Sturm situation.

There is a purse bid coming up for Sylvester vs. Castillejo. Castillejo's team said they want to try hard to win it but if they would still lose to Sauerland, Castillejo would give up his EBU mandatory position and wait for his fight vs. Sturm this summer.

Sylvester on the other hand absolutely wants to fight Sturm but would have to go trough Castillejo in Spain to get this WBA mandatory position to fight Sturm in summer.

So the question is: Will Sylvester take the risk for getting his dream fight vs Sturm and fighting Castillejo in Spain?

The only oppertunity for Duddy to get the fight vs. Sylvester is to lure him with a big purse...though, I don't know if the Irish promotion have that kind of money/is willing to give the German...

I dont think the Duddy-Sylvester fight will happen, as Duddy wont fight in Germany and I dont think Slyvester will come to Ireland.

Tom, it's good to see German boxing in such a healthy state. I remember in the early 80s West Germany was a wasteland for boxing, with Rene Weller as their only good fighter[ Light weight European champion].I would love to go to Magdeburg and experience one of those big German fight nights they have out there all the time.

Thanks for that Tom , I think Brian Peters could probably get the money together for Sylvester to come to Ireland if he really wanted to but with Duddy virtually guarenteed a shot at Pavlik(should he beat Taylor) once he doesn't lose , he most likely won't see that as worthwhile .

Yeah I hope Dunne can come back as well. Dunne was at the forefront of this boxing revival in Ireland.Bernard might not be good enought to compete at world level, but he certainly has the ability to be European champion again. Ya I watched it , Sutherland did well to come back and in truth dominate the last 2 rounds . For some reason I get this horrible feeling he's not going to make it to the Olympics .

I think he'd suit very well to the pros , he's a very strong guy and punches well to the body , seems to have a very good chin too . Those factors are less important in the amateurs and I feel style wise the pros would suit him better too . Hopefully he makes the Olympics .

Barnes looks very good at the moment , hopefully he can keep improving .

Con Sheehan is someone I knew very little about before the championships but I liked the look of him . Certainly loads to improve on but an 18 year old heavyweight who looks to have plenty of potential so he may become something to get excited about .

Hello Mike, O'Neill put up a good showing, but Sutherland was just that bit too strong for him. O'Neill is only 22, so he has time on his side.

Con Sheahan is an 18 year old. He's big and strong, and looks a great prospect for the future. I take it your in America Mike, but apparently you can watch RTE sporting events on line.

He had to pull out(presumely due to injury) at the semi-final stage I believe .

Darren O'Neil is 23 I think , lovely boxer but with having a full-time job(school teacher) I can't ever see him developing enough to be a real threat at the very top of the amateurs .

I agree Goldenboy, Dunne needs a warm-up fight, and then back in for a rematch against Martinez. Dunne was on RTE on Friday night, and he said he was back in training and hopeing for a big year. So, maybe he will be fighting soon.

Very interested ML, thank you. Do you think Klitscho will win against Ibragimov next month.Wladamir has the all round talent, but you never know with him, because his poor punch resistance.

I think Wlad wins, but I am just interested in a good fight that goes atleast past the fourth round. I havn't scene Sultan fight that much so I really don't know what to expect.

IMO Ilbragimov is very ordinary, I have seen him a few times and wasn't overly impressed. During an interview Sultan's management compared him to a young Mike Tyson LOL.

Hello Shamrock, what did you think of the amateurs?

like I said Ardy, the computer scoring sucks. I can't see how someone doesn't score a point in a round. Happens here too.
