Guida vs. Huerta was hard to beat.

Though, round of the year has to go to Yahya vs. Beebe.

thought the round with war machine knocking out that annoying black guy after it looked like he was out was the best round

Shamrock - Baroni

That was another GREAT fight.

Yes, that was, but was there any others than Guida-Huerta that had such a good display of basically everything and kept at a high pace?

Baroni-Shamrock was just about a 1 sided beatdown, Shamrock just being in such a different class skillwise. But it was heavily entertaining also, anybody would agree.

heavyweight division fights were pretty weak this year.

Sylvia -Couture should get an honourable mention. It wasn't the most exciting but for the signifigance of it and the greatness of it, it should be on a list of great HW fights.

Personally, I think this was the most exciting fight for of the whole year.
I remember I was in the bar. When Couture dropped Sylvia the place went absolutely nuts. I couldn't speak for 2 days after that fight cause i messed up my voice.

I don't think this is "which fight made you most excited", but which fight was overall better in entertainment, technique, etc. There were plenty of fights that deserve to be #1, I can't really come up with one that really stands out.

Guida v Huerta was all around the most exciting, back and forth match of the year - with Heurta snatching the victory after coming very close to being knocked out. It was an instant classic.
