After rewatching all this kid's fights again , observing his advantages and weaknesses..I'm almost certain that He'll soon rape the entire HW division.

I'm not going to say "rape" them, but I do believe he will end up devouring the entire devision. One fight I would kill to see would be him and Sam Peter. I know that would be an absolute war, and it would be an amazing test for Alexander's skill and chin.

Being already 27 years old, I dont' see him as a *kid*, but I think he will fight some very exciting fights now that he's gotten a name in Donald in his win column.

I am looking forward to seeing his first big fight against a real threatening opponent. He seems to have just about everythign it takes, all though his defense may be a bit leaky.

I'm not sure about his power and stamina(unproven). He's a very sound boxer though but I don't know if he could keep a guy like Peter off of him. At this stage he would only have a punchers chance against Wlad, but let's see where he goes from here. Although I havent seen the fight yet, I thought it is very promising that he beat Donald so soundly. Says a lot about his boxing skills.

He's definitely not a chalk entry but dominating the division seems improbable to me because Klitschko is not that much older than he is and Povetkin will not be able to obtain the same amount of pro experience Klitschko has because Klitschko began fighting professionally while relatively young for a contemporary heavyweight. I do see Povetkin becoming a notable fighter, no doubt about that. Povetkin and his management team don't seem reluctant at all about facing "real" opponents. Maybe we will have Povetkin vs Byrd or Povetkin vs Ruiz soon. Even Povetkin vs Holyfield would be good.

I don't know if it will be Povetkin or Solis. I definitely like Sasha more.

To be honest, I was pretty interested in this guy at one point, but as of late people have overrated him to the point where I almost could care less. Yes, he seems like he has potential to be a champion, yes he looked impressive against Donald, but judging from the skill he possesses now he looks no different than anyone else at the top of the division right now. Sultan Ibragimov could beat this guy for all I know.

Peter is so damn overrated, something that has been bothering me lately. Supposedly, this guy has this amazing raw power and you know, yeah he's a strong guy. But most of it is based on his KO on Jeremy Williams. He is such a sloppy puncher, Peter is never going to be a dominant champ IMO.

As for Povetkin, I consider him a future champ. You can throw in Solis and maybe Boystov down the road (that guy better start fighting again), but Povetkin is the closest fight now. I must admit though, Solis is going through a much faster pace and could end up catching Povetkin within 8 fights (at the rate he is going).

No chance of him being 'The' champ' ... gets hit too easily, he'd have problems with the big hitters (Wlad, Peter, Vitali, Brewster) .. He'd probably get something like the WBO belt, but never anything more. All you nuthuggers in training be prepared to get dissapointed !!

Povetkin had an extensive and very successful amateur career, which is why he has fared so well in his big steps up the professional ranks.

Make no mistake about it, Povetkin is not green by any measure. He probably knows more about being a pro than most of the guys Waldo has beaten.

Give it two or three more years and he could easily be as polished as someone like Chris Byrd. And considering Povetkin can punch, that spells trouble for alot of heavyweights.

I think he will. The only other fighter that may dispute it is Solis. All the rest of the puffs such as Chapman, Arriola etc. cannot even hold a candle to neither Povetkin nor Solis.

Based on what we've seen so far I believe Povetkin can become 'The Champ' .
However you can never be 100% certain about these things m especially when something like stamina has yet to be tested fully .

From what I gathered in his last fight he went 10 rds maintaining a very high output.

I haven't seen the Donald fight but it's good news if he was able to keep going at a decent pace . However over 12 rounds and someone who's a little more active than Donald may be a little different and that's when we'll see how good his stamina really is .

I've no concerns over his chin though , he may not have fought that much or fought huge punchers as a pro but including his amateur career he's shown to have a good chin and has looked unfazed by anything he's met so far in the pro game .

I think he will become one of the top guys but not a dominant champ. He is certainly top talent but whenever I see him fight I don't have the feeling that he is unbeatable.

A title holder maybe but not the champ. Hes too small for the likes of Wlad.

How can anyone know anything about Solis?? He's only had two fights. I'm not sold on these great Cuban amateurs being champs. Not saying it can't happen, but I'd like to see it first.

Remember Jorge Luis Gonzales? Ramon Garbey?

And how many are there even close to the likes of Wlad in terms of skills concerned? Answer, none.

Nobody knows, you are right, but considering his extraordinary amatuer beackground and some serious competition in pro ranks already (just 3rd fight), I think it is safe to say that he is the 2nd best prospect in the world after Povetkin.

I think he's the brightest prospect at this point. I hope he keeps it up.

I don't know about "The" Champ, but as long as he does not have a Glass Jaw he should at least win a belt.
