How do you wrap your hands?

I'm curious as to how everyone wraps their hands. After years of using my method, I'm thinking about switching due to recent hand injuries.

I usually put a sponge on my knuckles then I wrap my hands with handwraps. After that I take gauze and put another layer of protection on my wrists and knuckles and than I tape everything neatly.

for training? mainly focus across the hand, between the fingers, and start off with some good wrist wrapping.
