is there a reach to hieght ratio?
ive looked on boxrec and reach seems to not change only in the heavies is it dramatic.
anyways if somone was average hieght at say 5'8 and had a 71' reach is that a big reach or not?
also reach in itself is not registered right. to measure for reach you get a ruler and put it on from fingertip to fingertip...but what about the shoulders if you have big shoulders then yiu have a technically longer reach but you are cutting the size of arm length with shoulder reach....im babababababaling:rasta

The last part is true, which is why many times the arms themselves are measured instead of the entire wingspan. HBO and the lot will sometimes have the actual arm length on the Tale of the Tape before a fight.

Average reach should be the same as your height. If it is lower then it is below average, if it is higher then it is above average. Generally they will correlate. This is only a statistic though as the proportioning of the arms and shoulder width differs.

That's awesome, my reach is 74¼" and I'm only 70¾".

i have a 71' reachand 72 in hieght ...
but is it my shoulders that is giving me the extra legnth?
i'll measure my shoulders.
fuck 23' for my shoulders???
you shouldn't measure your whole wingspan. Say someone is 5'9 (69') but their wingspan is 73'. That sounds good, but they could just have a wide chest and average arms. It's better to just measure your arm length (armpit to fist).

i'm 6feet tall and my reach is in wingspan 76.5-77 inches but my arm length from armpit to fist is 29-30 inches.

Which part of the armpit is best to measure from? The crease where the hair separates?
