The one that Lamotta supposedly gave up against. 48 wins with 47 KO's.

Were the good majority of these fixed fights?

Seemed like a kill or be killed Julian Jackson type, anyway.

I don't know to be honest, but I don know that he was managed by Blinky Palermo, who is quite literally the most corrupt man in boxing history.

He was undeniably a business fighter and he was undeniably involved in more fixes than the one that Jake admitted at the hearing.

I thought he got a fight at the title during some point in his career.I may be mistaken.

well i think he did have some skills but he was as Mcgrain said totally a business fighter maybe his fights wernt all fixed but he wasnt a decent fighter very protected and had very little in the way of class opponants which is were lamotta came in. lamotta was a great middlewieght fighter and was a very very scary guy .raging bull didnt portray how scared people we of him he was unstoppable and if you won you looked bad in the process robinson saw the brunt of this till he totally understood him.
anyway jake was part of a officiat and was sent in to take a dive he didnt and just took punches till the ref stopped the fight.

in a way it was all publicity to give lamotta a shot in that he could be beaten and fox a chance to fight for the title....again
