I think not.

So cautious, so lazy. So good when he tries, so bad when he just leans on the other guy an does nothing.

I don't know, Audley get's the hate, but I have to say Guinn is so much more frustrating to watch.

Audley makes you do the same thing, so much talent, but so damn tenative and stiff. Maybe it's the weak chin, but if he'd loosen up, the chin would be better.. just a guy who doesn't want to get hit.. but that's NOT Guinn's problem.. he doesn't seem to mind getting hit, as much as he doesn't want to engage.

He needs to quit.

This one is a bad, bad loss. Hawkins is nothing but a journeyman. I'm not even sure Guinn qualifies as gatekeeper at this point.

Outside of his win over Grant, he has been a stiff majority of time. I am surprised he keeps geting chances on television. Give someone more willing a chance.

Does anyone think it has anything to do with Guinn being burned out? I heard that he had a very long amateur career and that he has been boxing since he was like 15 or so. Just a thought.

He could be, but if so he is completely burnt, and it still does not explain why televison keeps giving him fights we get stuck watching. You have a point on the amateur thing, especially since a lot of amateur fights at heavier divisions will burn some guys out. !5 is not too young to start though, maybe he had too many fights in short period.

We can only hope that he never makes it on TV again...

Before this Hawkins fight, he did say that the beast in him has been reawakened.

If so, apparently it was put back to sleep, soon thereafter.

He's never been right since that loss to Monte Barrett.
"Southern Disaster" is right.

What's even sadder is that a few people actually could see an upset here by Guinn being lazy and Hawkins outworking him, such as Houston over at Fightwriter.
