Glad its not going to happen to be honest. Looks like he'll have to stick to defending his Irish title over here.

You seriously need to show more respect to the posters here.

Show some respect to Jeff aswell, he has the balls to get into the ring and fight, you dont and also your comments on boxing are usually garbage.:D

A true fan with knowledge of the sport would respect any practioner regardless of what level they were competing at. I know because i'm a fan and follower of the sport myself and I love chatting to anyone who has taken part in the sport because I know how hard it is.

At the end of the day i'm a realist and know my capabilities and anything I achieve will be purely through hard work and dedication. I'm not all that bad and have earned compliments off people who I respect and whose opinion I value. People who in the boxing world have little to gain from saying 'well done mate, well boxed' or 'that was an impressive performance'.

Steelem is the typical armchair fan, who is only occasionaly amusing through the crudeness and baseness of what he writes and I really don't think its intentionally funny he's just a bit dense. I just think he is a uneducated observer who really has no knowledge of the sport. He can write what he wants about me his opinion has no validity.

His disappointment at Amir Khan having a ****stani flag on his shorts for example gives you a little insight into this guys mentality. Anyway thats my last word on him- he is boring, unfunny, uninteresting, has no knowledge of the sport and can't respect other people....in other words he lives an unhappy, uneducated life- unlucky him.

Okay, lets lighten the mood - it is New Years Eve after all!

Jeff - what happened to your 'Heartbeat' avatar?

Saw the soundtrack to the show in my local HMV in the winter sale - would be ideal in the background down the gym!

Could get it and post it to you if your address wasn't so long! Perhaps if I just wrote To Jeffro c/o Blackpool it would get there .....

Seriously, have a great 2008 - from your biggest ESB armchair fan!

:good

Still don't see how Hatton can sell anything other than Witter/Malinaggi after Mayweather - are most of his fans 'casual' enough that they'de pay to watch him against virtually any competition? I feel they might, but there will be little TV interest; his deal with HBO is up and I wonder what UK network would put up good money.

Wow, well done you're the man. Not many humans in this world can claim to have had kids and got married. You're one of a kind mate.:good
