# 1 Brock He is still ranked high in IBF at 3rd but I heard that might be out with a eye injury. Whats the word on The boxing banker?:huh
# 2 Brewster is also out with a eye injury I have heard, does anyone know what he is up too:huh
# 3 Briggs the last time I heard from him The Cannon was calling out Wladimir again, any word on when the Cannon will roar again:huh

For Brock and Briggs, you used their names early in the sentence, then the nick name when you refered to them again later in the sentence, so why not do the same for Brewster?
To stay consistent, you could have said:
#2 Brewster is out with an eye injury, I have heard. Does anyone know what Relentless Lamon is up to?
Your post had a cheesy overall sound with the names, then the nicknames being used later in the same sentence, but in the future, if you choose to use this obviously contrived writing style again, try to be more consistent with it. LOL
That said, I was also wondering what has come of these guys. I think Briggs wants to fight again, but is also looking into acting. Brewster apparently said he'd continue after his last fight, then not heard anymore. Brock, not heard a peep. But I think he did say somethign about fighting on after the Chambers loss, yes.

Last I read about Briggs, a few months back, he said he was retired for all intents and purposes from boxing, having made his money there and looking to do something else.
Brewster's in a tricky situation where he may want to fight on but his health and condition is a concern. I'd say he has one leg in retirement, put it that way.
Brock will be looking to rebuild his career in 2008 no doubt. He's the only one of the three I'm certain we'll be seeing again.

after brewster's loss to wlad he just didn't sound like he wanted it anymore he said something along the lines of not wanting to slug it out or take a beating ect because he has a family ect , to me it clearly came across as he has lost some of his desire or fire to fight ect

Yeah and everyone was saying how Brewster had endless heart and guts, while Wlad was a quitter with no heart and no chin. "Lame one" Brewster is done for, so you can forget about him.

i think he's already had a detached retna before , if his heart isn't in it anymore it's best he retire, he could enbd up getting seriously hurt if he's out there just going through the motions . he was not the same as he was the first fight vs wlad , when he fought wlad and even up to the golata fight he was really in there to fight , and fight to win , but i don't think he wants it anymore ans he should hang it up

Brewster's done even if he fights again. He might fight some second-tier guys for the money, but his last fight made it blatant that his heart just isn't in it anymore, and that he's more concerned about his health than winning. If he continues to fight, it will be against guys who shouldn't pose much of a threat, just to get a few more paydays in.
Not 100% sure about the other two. Brock will be out for a while with injuries, and the jury's still out as to whether he'll try to contend again, become a gatekeeper, or retire. Considering he has other means of income that require full use of his brain, and that he's obviously not top-tier, I'd say that retiring might end up being the best option. With his name, he could probably make good money banking.
Briggs said he retired, but has waffled since. I suspect he'd take another big fight if the opportunity arose, but he seems to want to get more focused on acting. His career goals just conflict too much for both to work. He'll never be an elite boxer again without losing a lot of bulk (which exacerbates his asthma), but he won't get acting roles without looking like a blown-up cartoon character. He seems to be having trouble getting roles on a regular basis, and his last couple fights didn't make him as much money as he would have liked, so I suspect he'll be back in the ring, but I doubt he ever becomes a contender again.

Brewster messaged me about 2 months ago and said that he was in negotiations for another fight, in a sense I would love to see him fight again, but on the other hand his health is more improtant.
Brock- he will fight again, but I doubt he will ever get another chance at a world title, his boxing style sucks and he lacks the power to get any real americans wanting to see him fight for a title again.
Briggs- He will fight again, I just got done watching the Liakhovich/Briggs fight, the man is extremely powerful and is wonderful counter puncher, I really hope Briggs gets in better shape and chooses to fight again, becuase I would love to see him in the ring again.

Had Brewster been in with someone he could have blown out of the water, as he did Golota, I'd venture to say that his heart would have still been in it. :blood
Funny how some people makes excuses for someone who is getting their ass handed to them by a better man, by saying he just don't want it, anymore.

As has been said, I'd also like to see Briggs fight Brewster.
Brock losing to Chambers set him back, as far as people wanting to see him fight. The Chambers fight was a snoozefest, and a loss, to boot.
Brock needs to do something BIG, next, to start to resurrect a bit of interest in him. As he is, now I am not at all interested in seeing Brock fight anyone.

Brewster is the best American heavyweight
He's taking a lay off.. trying to get free from injuries.. he's said he wants to have a few tune up fights and then fight a big name again, like a rubber match with Wladimir. Gotta give it to him, he's got a huge heart.

yeah true. i forgot about the chambers loss but all of these fighters are pretty dry.
I mean briggs has huge ko power but ALL of his fights have been SO boring that I think it would be a waste to see him fight another contender. brewster should probably retire for his own health. brock could keep fighting, winning the odd one and losing the odd one. either way, I dont see any of these guys having another title shot ever.

Funny how some people makes excuses for someone who is getting their ass handed to them by a better man, by saying he just don't want it, anymore. Before the Wlad fight Brewster wanted to work on his boxing and wanted Buddy to teach him how to get hit less because of his eye, also the fact he was starting to develope brain dammage from his wars over the years. As Buddy put it in a later interview after the Wlad fight " I was teaching a man to fight a completely different kind of fight than what he was accustomed to , I should of known you cant teach an old dog new tricks".
Brewster was done before the fight even started, he tried the safety first approach in this fight, and obviously lost because of it, you cant blame a guy for not wanting to due and more dammage to his body and risk never being able to talk and play with his kids in the coming years.

For various reasons, I think all three should retire. They're all in their 30s, and none of the three will ever get another huge payday.
Hopefully, they have invested well, and they will enjoy their financial security while pursing different lines of work.

Brew's still got some mileage left, but needs to
stay away from Wlad, esp. when Wlad has a good night's sleep. The first fight was legit, but Wlad had a bad night's sleep.
He had a great night's sleep before the rematch!
Briggs? MMA?
Brock? Still can beat the likes of Peter/Golota.
Brigg's? Well, Shannon needs to move on to the MMA
Brock? Top tier, needs to feed on Golota, and others. etal.
