you get fantasy matchups where evryone picks 2 fighters from different era's and we have different opinions, but what matchup would you pay the most to watch and what would it prove?
i would pick marciano v holyfield
i think this would be the perfect matchup to see how good present boxing is compared to the old days and would be a total pick em and a great fight to watch.

IMO and in the opinion of Chavez who himself said, IT WOULD HAVE BEEN SOMETHING.
Two guys not taking a step backwards bulling each other.

mayweather vs. rjj
At what weight?
147

Well Floyd would easily win, given the fact that Roy would have been a teenage amateur when he weighed 147 lbs.

I can't narrow it down to just one fight, so I'll go with one each weight class:
130: Bobby Chacon vs. Diego Corrales: That would be a brutal war. Maybe have it take place at Arco Arena in Sacramento.
135: Roberto Duran vs. Henry Armstrong: Although most of Henry's defenses were of his WW belt, he weighed in as a lightweight. Interesting to see these two guys go at it. I wonder who's more likely to get points deducted for fouls.
140: Aaron Pryor vs. Meldrick Taylor: Two very fast and active guys going at it. I think Pryor would take it.
147: Sugar Ray Robinson vs. Sugar Ray Leonard: The universally regarded GOAT as this best weight class versus the guy with the same name.
154: Julian Jackson vs. Felix Trinidad: two monster punchers, I actually think Jackson might win this one.
160: Bernard Hopkins vs. Marvin Hagler: Two blue collar gym rats who were skilled technicians but could brawl as well. I make Hopkins the slightest of favorites.
175: Roy Jones vs. Ezzard Charles
CW (190 or 200): Rocky Marciano vs. Evander Holyfield
HW: Joe Louis vs. Muhammad Ali
