andreas kotelnik..............IN GERMANY!!!!
kotelnik will win. why?? cause he is the far better fighter!!!!!
Rees cant be written off, we did that kast time. The thing is we dont actually know how good he is, he went from fighting meanigless 6 rounders to becoming WBA champion, madness. But still Kotlnik with home advantage surely must be a big favourite.
Kotelnik on Pts imo, but id luv to be wrong.
how come rees got a shot at the wba championship? who did he beat? did he beat any world ranked fighters?

m'bye is ******s as is rees, mbye had looked awful in his previous fight (kotelnik too i think) so needed an 'easy' one. problem is he was even worse v rees, i saw it coming, won a decent bit of cash on rees.
reckon kotelnik wins though.

i like rees totally not what you expect from a short stout welsh shaven headed hardnut.....you get a quick handed high workrate super slick skills and ali shuffles to boooot.
i think rees is better than people say he looked pretty good against mbaye...even thuogh mbaye didnt put up much fight you have to admit that he was completly lost when fightign gavin didnt know if to jab(becuase gavin was far slicker defencivly than him) or to fight with him....(becuase gavin was far faster with the hooks especially to the body)

cant really see kotelnik fighting as badly mbaye did. reckon any version of kotelnik that shows up will win, especially in germany. if the guy that fought witter turns up then i cant see rees lasting the distance.

If Rees got down to Lightweight or ever Super Feather he could be a top fighter, i know hes won a world title but it should go soon.
Is he 100% fighting in Germany theres been no anouncement.

Rees-Kotelnik moved to 15th March in Cardiff. Makes a bit more sense to me. (the bit on Rees is at the bottom of the article)

Just read it on the BBC website and they are trying to put rees on the undercard of haye v macrinelli.
So is the fight in London or Cardiff?

Kotelnik is a tall order, both literally and figuratively.
It'll be interesting to see Rees handle this one.

Kotelnik is a quality operator ... he lost a a razor thin decision to Witter which many people thought could have gone either way and Mbaye somehow managed a 'draw' against Kotelnik on a Frank ****** show !! .. if Ree's does win this fight, he's a much better fighter than i gave him credit for.

Why not against Witter? If Rees is going to lose the title straight away anyway FW might as well give us a decent undercard fight.kotelnik was to fight mbaye after he was robbed of a title so the wba ordered that a rematch be insued. and in the meanwhile as a stay busy fight mbaye was beaten convincingly by rees. now the wba have to pass that order on to rees as they were truely fucked when you have a rematch for a man who has just lost the title so kotty is now fighting rees.
it isnt about fighting bums or anything it's just that rees has to fight this guy by the organisation that has given him the belt.

It makes a change for a Frank ****** fighter to win his first world title with a body other than the WBO - what the hell was going on there?

Hes got the WBA wrapped up now, how do you think Skelton got title shot???
Love him or hate him, if your a young pro, there really is only one option when it comes to joining a promotion and that SportsNetwork.

Yes perhaps if you want the easy $$ but if you want to build a sturdy following, and be well managed and tested along the way VIP are the best up and coming promotional outfit in the country.

Ricky managed an sturdy following with Frank, he may have wasted some of his peak but still had a following.

If i was a decent amateur about to go pro, i would sign a 10 fight deal with Sports Network, see where i was at the end, then sign for another 5 or move on.
