How do you predict he'll do against McCline, and how will he do against Peter, or Maskaev, depending on who wins?
Vitali TKO McCline late
Vitali TKO Peter late
Vitali KO Maskaev mid to late.
As far as Vitali being compareable to how he was before, and I just bet he will be as good, if not even better. After the corrective surgery on his back, and rest, he may feel more mobile and rejuvinated, instead of lethargic and rusty. I recall reading where he was enduring an ongoing back problem all throughout his boxing career, and with that corrected, now, he may be more fluid and feel more mobile than he has in a long time. Who knows, but we'll see. .
He stays in shape year round, so that's not a hinderance, and you know being the professional he is, he'll train to the peak level for each and every fight.
I think he'll be as good and effective as ever, and none of the three will make it to the final bell. :good
If he is as good as he was before he retired he TKO McCline and Maskaev, and possibly Sam late.

You know I am a huge fan of Vitaly but these are all stipulations. Lets just wait for the McCline fight to see Vitaly's present form. Hypothetically speaking though, if he is in the same form as pre-retirement, he wipes the floor with all three of them.

I don't think he comes back unless he is ready, he's already demonstrated this in declining against Maskaev. :thumbsup

Vitali doesn't win by UD. Check his record. He has won ONE of his fights by decision.
He will destroy all three of those guys.

If on form he knocks out both McLine and Oleg easily but against Peter i think that would be a much better fight which could probably go either way imo.

Peter number one??? How did he get there? Just please don't tell me by beating a fat steroid freak Toney. I personally place Ibragimov and Chagaev above him not only based on them having belts but also defeating a much better competition in a decisive manner.

I am a Vitaly fan and I was not happy about him quiting in that fight, considering his whoping Byrd's ass. But I guess he knew what was better for his health and his future carrer.

How do you put a cute little title like a *bruised shoulder* on an injury that required corrective surgery, as Vitali's injury did?
Your cute little name for his severe injury is laughable, clearly biased as hell, and costs you what precious little credibility you had.
To call Vitali's shoulder injury a mere *bruised shoulder* is like calling McCline's recent knee injury, which ALSO required corrective surgery, a sore leg.
Bottom line; nooone takes seriously, cause we all know what kind of biased nonsense you'll say, even before you say it.

I have a feeling that Klit is going to look like shit against McCline. He may well win, because McCline is old and falling apart, but I think it will be somewhat of a Pyrrhic victory. His style, which was already uglier than the special effects in Children of the Corn III, will look like utter garbage (or, if you'd rather, Carlos Maussa).
Vitali will then either retire, improve and do something significant, or get badly beaten up by Peter. I think the first option would be in fitting with his character.

You have some points correct..
He can beat you McClines handily , but when push comes to shove he cannot beat Samuel Peter.. Its not a fight he can win.. Peter would make him look so rusty by boxing him and giving him very odd angles.. plus the punching issue..
Peter would be the first man to probably stop Vitali via TKO..
