RJJ will wink at the camera right before ending your little welterweight's illusions of grandeur !

Reality check. Both Tito and RJJ are under their own little illusions. If Roy knocked Tito the fuck out would he step up to the plate and get beat the fuck down once and for all by Joe Calzaghe? He never faced Calzaghe when they were in their primes and now RJJ is trying to make one last run at Calzaghe before his career ends.

Tito should do Roy a favor and beat and retire him while hes ahead because Calzaghe will give RJJ brain damage.

RJJ cant even look at a boxing glove these days without collapsing on the floor for 5 minutes.

if jc hasn't given any of his bogus 99% tin can opponents brain damage, how could he give, past it legend rjj that level of infliction?

if calzaghe becomes half of the legend rjj was when he hangs up his gloves, he'd need to work very hard for the next 5 years!!!

rjj may be past his prime, but tito is shot. tito has a punchers chance, but that's all he has.

You dont become a legend beating a bunch of bags in a weak ass division while all the other guys are stepping up weight classes and taking on challenges. Against at least good fighters....If your best win is a fucking Kessler. You are what you eat. Bullshit.

RJJ cant even look at a boxing glove these days without collapsing on the floor for 5 minutes.

He wasn't a prime Roy Jones in his last two outings but he got the job done in two near-shutouts against active young (Hanshaw) and powerful (Ajamu) lightheavyweights. Tito hasn't fought since being hopelessly shutout against Winky (whose career was greatly assisted under promotion of good friend RJJ). Tito is vulnerable to flash knockdowns, and RJJ just put a fighter at 175 pounds in his mid twenties flat on his face. I'll be reminding you of this post after the fight. He's got enough in the tank to add this fight to his highlight reel...he's just too good a finisher and Tito drops way too often.

Tito couldnt KO great fighters at lower weights...yet somehow he is going to take that power to LHW and drop someone that has fought there for a VERY long time?

I dont get that rationale.

Felix sucks and he isn't going to carry 175lbs good. He's going to be flat footed and slow.

Tito has been away from the ring since (2005, his last lost to winky weight), in the other hand rjj has been active every year.

but who knows, maybe trinidad can pull a george foreman and ko roy, but that's just impossible. :rofl

Titos a good technically sound boxer i would really write him off in this 1 he has skills and reliability of strong movement i think tito after the weigh in will hit the treadmills and lose as much weight as he can while still feeling fit and ready to go

I cant wait to see this fight

but stillfeel jones is far superior

Agree with you on 100%. You know your stuff:good It nice to see someone with sence. This is one of the easiest fight to predict the winner which is Roy, yet always someone find the way to pick the clear loser somehow, in this fight fighter that will lose is Tito. I also encorage to check this post again after January 19.

You never know in boxing, but Roid Jones can knock Tito out. Tito could get in a lucky punch though, but if Roid gets in the first punch, Tito will be in real trouble. Neither one is at their best.

This argument is academic; Joe beats both guys in the same night.
