SRR would be undisputed championAt MW against Monzon? Not too sure about that, in fact I'd say not.
Yes at his peak SRR beats King Carlos

I just cant see Robinson not dominating any era at 147 , seriously . Just so hard to overcome . At 160, the only version of him we know is the past-prime one, but past-prime Robinson still beat a the best MWs around in a golden era , but lost to them aswell. And in the 70's is one of the best MWs ever in Hagler , Hagler could possibly beat Robinson at MW , everything considered. Dont know if that Robinson would be able to beat that prime Hagler , maybe he would get a win over him in a series. I dont like it when posters say that so and so would split a series , i think its a kop out because they dont wanna say who they think will win.
But the reason i have said it here is because that was the story of Robinson's MW career , and that is the subject here

SRR beats Napoles, Cuevas, Stacy, Palomino, Estrada, and Benetiz
at welter ....because he is the greatest welterweight.
But at middleweight....if Fullmer and Basilio can beat SRR, then there
are a bunch of good middles over at Philly, and the Marvelous One
is coming into his own, plus King Carlos.
And what about Rodrigo Valdez with his big punches.
The older SRR won't be able to walk thru this minefield
unscathed.

That's what im saying , what i said about Hagler was that he could maybe beat MW Robinson , and im saying same applies for Monzon
SRR at his peak at Welter Weight or what ever weight you want to say his peak was beats Carlos, peak vs peak SRR wins

I don't see how Robinson would beat Monzon to be completely honest.

He probably wouldnt , its just that , he pulled some miracles at MW when he was well past it , who knows ? Same against Hagler aswell

Same, he is giving up so much size and power. Not to mention that monzon is not a come forward brawler like lamotta, basilio and fullmer.
