Agreed, that was a great KO that they will replay for a while, may even be the best FNF KO of the season for the show all year. Entertaining, but doesn't credit Miranda realy at all, Yes he shut ol' boys eyes, but he didn't look anywhere near contender status doing it at all until that punch. The jab he threw in rounds 1-2 wouldn't get anywhere near Pavlik, Taylor, Kessler, Calzaghe, OR ANYONE at the top of 168 or 160 (maybe Green though..... maaaaaybe), Miranda is done, nice KO but wow, u looked weak doing it, nice one shot win, no shot at a title.

I agree with some of this, but to include PAvlik amongst the guys the jab wouldnt hit doesnt make much sense, he unloaded on Pavlik all night when they fought, he didnt have trouble really hitting him with anything. :think

No you are right if your analyzing what you have seen in the past with Kelly P. I should have been more specific, IMO Kelly wouldn't get hit with the Miranda jab if they met again again because I think (and most people do, not to put words in peoples mouths) that Kelly's defense will be much better in his future bouts. Win or lose against Taylor his camp will emphasize his defense more than anything. Anyone who is in contention with Kelly is scared of his offense whether they say it or not, their only chance is exploiting his weak D, which I believe will improve vastly over the next 12 months.

Its clearly to see that hes much stronger at 168, and it would be interesting to see if Pavlick still can take Mirandas shots at 168. If you look at the first fight you clearly see that Miranda had no much difficulties to hit Pavlick, only that the punches had not much affect on him, maybe cause he was drained. Now hes much stronger, and the question is, can Pavlick still walk through Miranda like in the first fight?
Of course Pavlick may be stronger as well at 168, but Miranda is a huge guy and he benefits more to fight at 168 than Pavlick.
To say people are braindead when the think Miranda could beat Pavlick at 168, is verry lame.

Miranda is also improving hius skills and defense, its not so that only Pavlick is improving.
Anyway, Pascal is next, and Miranda will knock him out.

Maybe, but people should not be suprised if he doesnt.
Of course pavlick should be the favourite, and he is the favourite, but thats doesnt mean Miranda has no chance. At 168 it could be different.

true that, but Miranda has a long road to travel before he meets the Ghost again. Tell me if I'm wrong that Kelly's skills will improve more than Edison's over the same period of time. Kelly will only be fighting Mega fights/or Title fights, or a combo of the 2. Ed will only be fighting cats to prove himself to that level. By then Kelly has 2 or 3 more full camps and champioship fights to give him a lift. Wrong??
If a fighter cant get praised for giving a knockout of the year type ko's.... theres something wrong there. His fans are just celebrating... of course some people are going to go overboard, but i couldnt name ONE fight where that doesnt happen one way or the other.
and people are always going to try and put miranda and kelly in the same sentance... kelly isnt the only fighter in the world.
Miranda has pascal next.... which isnt a gimme but i think he should win, then id love for him to get to tarver and carve him up.

valid, with his power he will always have A CHANCE. And Miranda - Pascal won't be that far off in the odds book. Pavlik would steam roll Pascal....bad
