I know they fought in 2003 with Hatton winning a lopsided decision, but I think we can all agree that that wasn't the best Phillips. Both made Kostya Tszyu their bitch, so who wins this matchup of Tszyu conquerors Prime for Prime?

Hatton was faster and better than Phillips he also has what it takes to take Philips's punch's.

Very much the same as how their fight went but with Philips doing better.

Phillips would be more competitive, but Hatton still wins.

The Phillips that fought Hatton was shot to pieces with no legs, speed, stamina or athleticism yet he still seriously hurt Hatton once or twice with right hand counters.

Phillips beat a Prime Tyszu far far more emphatically than Hatton beat a past prime Tyszu. Phillips-Tyszu was a wonderful fight. Phillips only really shone at that top level once because of outside of the ring distractions (such as crack addiction apart from other factors)

I think the Phillips that beat Tyszu wins by late round KO

I think Vince Phillips is typically underrated by a lot of people. He used to be a very good fighter, and the dude could always fuckin' hit.

A prime Phillips would have stopped Hatton.Phillps was a very strong boxer in his prime who had good power.Hatton would have got stopped.A TOTALLY SHOT PHILLIPS STILL MANAGED TO SHAKE UP HATTON TWICE.

Why didn't Tzsyu have a rematch with Phillips? He never seemed to want to avenge that loss.
