I would like to see Edision Miranda VS Jermain Taylor at 168. I think Miranda would KO Taylor because Miranda best punch is his straight right and Jermain can't block that punch and I'll think that Miranda would catch him in the middle rounds like Kelly did. Who do you guys think will win?

holy cow, taylor got KO'ed by a pavlik straight cause he always kept his left low. with the overhand right being miranda's best punch he could probably take taylor's head off, if taylor does'nt fix his defensice deficiencies.
Taylor would win in my eyes. I don't think he has the chin to sustain what Kelly did in his fight with Taylor. Jermaine would be too fast for Edison, i think Ed is really overated.

We will see after Miranda fights Pascal since Pascal is at least as fast if not faster then Taylor...

I think Taylor should be the favorite here... Miranda def has a shot but damn, Taylors has gone round for round with hopkins and wright.... and now cuz pavlik knocks him out Miranda is going to do it too?
Id love for Miranda to land that right hand, but Taylors shown a good jaw (he took plenty of right hands from pavlik before he was felled) and hes overall faster, and puts his punches better together... i have to favor taylor in this.

But he would be Jermain because he is mentally weak...
even if hes physically faster then taylor, he doesnt throw his punches as straight... he throws too many looping punches, so it wouldnt really be the same anyways.

Taylor can't block a straight right hand. How many right hand can he take from Miranda in a fight? Kelly kept landing rights all night and he broke down Jermain and KO him in the 7th. Taylor should be the favorite if they fought but I would be shocked if it's not a good fight and if I had to bet I'll pick Miranda KO 9.

lets see how JT looks at SM, and how he comes back from deafet. But right now i would favor Taylor. Miranda is a great entertainer, and fighter, but come on people, punching power and physical strength is not everything, and it sure doesnt make some one invinsible.

I would love to see this fight happen. This would be an entertaining fight likely to end in knockout. Jermaine has the better skills, but Miranda is the harder puncher. It could go either way as Miranda doesn't have the toughest beard and has the speed disadvantage. I could see JT taking this one on a ko due to superior speed, although I think most would pick Miranda to win.

Taylor by wide UD. Miranda doesn't throw enough and doesn't box well enough to pose a threat to Taylor, who's chin is still somehow underrated. Miranda is what he is, which is someone who can't take out the top guys. If Abraham didn't have a titanium chin, he might have won that one, but it's hard to see how he'd be anything other than dominated against an A-level fighter.
He'll knock the snot out of Pascal though. He'll walk right into a Miranda counter and go to sleep.

I think this is a good fight. I won't pick a winner until I see how JT looks in the rematch with Pavlik. Miranda said he wants the winner, but there is absolutley no reason for Pavlik to give him a rematch. Guess he'll have to settle for the loser. JT is just as strong as Edison and a far better boxer, but like i said, I won't pick him to win unless he looks good in his rematch with Kelly.
