Who wins, Berto is going to have to step up the comp this year, could this matchup happen? if so, who gets the W and why?

I think Margarito is too tough for Berto right now, I think Berto would win some rounds but eventually he would get wore down and possibly stopped. Though he(Berto) did impress me in the Estrada fight i would like him first to fight the Alfonso Gomez's and Jesus Soto-Karass's before he fights Margarito.

After the Clottey fight I had written Margarito off, but he did impress me in the Williams fight. I think he may be too much for Berto at this point in his career. He'd be moving to fast if he went for a Margarito fight now.

as much as i hate to say anything good about this hype job AM would win. the rivera fight is my evidence. berto hasnt been in with enough quality guys just yet are any other contenders to build up and has only been in the pro fight game for 2 years starting his third now. too much too soon. he may be stopped and it would not be good for him like it wasnt good for cintron.

Margarito is one of the worst ranked fighters in the world in any division, however, Berto has a glass chin and will eventually get pressured and caught.

Margarito would take this fight IMO. The defense of Berto is still a bit suspect for me, as is his chin. I don't think he could take the pressure from someone as good as Margarito.

Well, at the stage of Berto's carrier now I have to go with Margarito. And I could hardly foresee how good Berto will be a year from now, but today his defense, speed, adaptability and the lack of changing the pace when it's time to step up a little bit weak. He’s not at his peak, hasn’t reached his potential yet, not a finished fighter etc.
