should we?:roll:Probably not. I love to hate Allan Green so I would like to see him catch another beating. Don't know if Manfredo can do it though.

It's a half decent scrap. I'd love to see Froch fight the winner. He needs to get his name mentioned in the U.S.

Manfredo too short, too weak and too sucky. Green late KO.

i think this one will tell the tale about where these 2 guys stand. the loser will most likely be nothing more than a gatekeeper. shit, the winner probably will be too.

I'll be ringside as long as its in Providence.

Allan's gonna knock him out.

If some midwestern tomato can put Green on queer street and nearly get him out of there, it's not out of the realm of possibility that a regional fighter like Manfredo could finish the job.

It's a half decent scrap. I'd love to see Froch fight the winner. He needs to get his name mentioned in the U.S.Froch is underated. He isn`t much good at holding his hands up but he`s got a long reach and can move in and out of range quickly. He`d knock Green flat out with the power he`s got.But his chin hasn`t been tested yet has it.

He possibly is underated but he does need to move up a level or two. Yes, imo, he'd "smoke Manfredo's boots" and would probably do the same to Greene, but by taking a fight with the winner, he gets himself coverage in the states. If I was Hennessy, i'd break the bank to get Inkin to Nottingham. Deal with him and then go stateside.

Fight the winner of Manfredo - Greene and then look for Jeff Lacy. If I couldn't get him i'd take either Andrade or Bute.

Manfredo is not a regional fighter, he's at least a Gate Keeper/fringe contender. But McCrory, whom doesn't hit as hard as Manfredo, is a regional fighter and did almost get Green out of there.

Manfredo possibly might have a good style for Green's also, if I am not mistaken.

Seeing Green finally get KTFO will be a nice treat, he's avoided his official "checking" long enough.

We have to get the chin checklist back up mate.:yep

Trust me this has nothing to do with Calzaghe.;) I just think Manfredo is the most overrated person out there right now regarding KO-power. So he stopped a shot to pieces Pemberton and a worthless Spina and all of a sudden people think he will KO almost everybody, there were even a few deluded persons who thought he could KO Calzaghe.:patsch

Well, do we have a bet? I was thinking something like 4 weeks.

Don't get me wrong, I don't think anything on Manfredo and I detested Calzaghe fighting Manfredo all the way through it because it was a worthless bout.

It's just that Green is pure shit and has a glass chin, which gives Manfredo a shot. You should know by now that generally I will pick against glass jawed hype jobs, I recently picked Dirrell to get Curtis Stevens for this reason, but only found out that Dirrell, while skilled, has a worse chin most likely.

I'm not overly confident on Manfredo, no deal. But I do pick him to KO Green, because Green is garbage.

If someone can find me a better avatar, then I'll change this one.

I'll offer you an even better deal then. I pick Green and you Manfredo, what about that?

I don't think Green is anything special at all, but Manfredo is just even worse.

Good, at least we agree on that, Green is garbage and has a glass jaw.

I have so many bets going at the moment, let me manage them and think this over.

I think it's an intriguing fight. Manfredo determined to stay on fast track after aborted loss to Calzaghe. Green can crack and has ability. Tough fight for Manfredo Jr. but he has shot.

Not sure what ever happened to this. :think

Not a bad idea for Green now, to take on a name-trophy and get into the mix. With all the top guys either tied up in the tournament or other big payday fights, Green will have to do something to get and stay noticed.

Last I heard Manfredo planned on dropping to 160, which is where he belongs, and trying to get a title shot.

And what the hell is up with Green? He called out Bute very publicly. Most of us saw that. Next he changed his mind, and said he wanted Froch because that was an easier fight. Now he is fighting Manfredo!

I do think Manfredo has a shot. All he has to do is use the fight plan Hermit came up with. You have a member of your camp sneak into Green's locker room with a black magic marker. You use the magic marker to make a big "L" on the toe of Green's right shoe, and a big "R" on the toe of his left shoe. Green would be absolutely fucked come fight time.

And where the hell is that idiot Finito? This is gonna be fun. It'll be better than constantly reminding him Green lost to Emmet Linton!

Green has one of the best single punches in all of boxing, with his short left hook. He is also a pretty decent boxer. he does fight afraid sometimes though and loses rds. Manfredo will likely be game, he is a ballsy fighter who will fight anyone, but in the end I think around rd 8 he will eat a single big shot that will lead to a stoppage.

I think this is a solid match up. im in!
