I appologise sincerley to swear at you all again, but is there anyone out there who he will get credit for beating in present day the answer is NO.
Chad Dawson: Chad who??
Bute: See above
Taylor: was never that good
Winky: Lost to an old man
Bhop: Old man
Clinton Woods: Like dawson is not that well known outside his country
RJJ: Again too old
Pavlik: Only average
As you see they are pretty much all the options open to him,the simple fact is there is no one Joe can beat and get true credit for, unfortunatly he's beaten all the compitition out there.
Get your pay day Joe and retire i say.:good

**YAWN**
Is this a serious question or is it another way of saying you think Joe has already done enough to be considered a legend?
There will be excuses made for every single name on that list
It's far easier to shit on opponents than give credit where its due

True, and that goes for many other boxers as well.

It's what you do to Hopkins all the time you hypocrite.

The point is I'd rather not, Daniel
I'm only doing it in response to people that say Joe has fought nobody, which is obviously bollocks

If your point is that in Kessler he's already fought and defeated a man for which he should get all the credit and there's no possibly way in today's competition to overdo that I agree as I think Kessler is a tougher fighter for anyone than Hopkins in these months. On the other hand, Joe needs Hopkins for his legacy and luckily for him Hopkins is between P4P 2-4 today so if he can defeat him maybe he'll get the credit from the remaining few of the boxing world.
For me, the Kessler fight was THE defining fight for his career.

Kessler & Lacy are his best wins and that's nothing to be ashamed of.
So you're saying two wrongs make a right?

Someone has to do it, otherwise we'd have Yanks shitting all over Europeans fighters 24/7, 365 days a year

Get your pay day Joe and retire i say.:goodHe would have got loads of credit for beating a prime RJJ but while Jones was in his prime Joe was still defending his WBO title in Britain.

Like every win for any fighter there will be pros and cons pointed out but in the end he will get credit for any of the wins you posted.
He will get different levels of credit depending on the fighter though
if i had to rank the ones you posted i would say
1) Chad Dawson
2) BHop
3) Pavlik
4) Taylor
5) Bute
6) RJJ
7) Winky
8- Woods
I'm not saying which i think would be his toughest or easiest or what not just which i think he would get most credit for in the long run when looking back on his career.
if Taylor beats Pavlik then switch those 2, and if Pavlik beats Taylor easily then Pavlik goes up to number 1 or 2.
I mean Calzaghe did get credit for Lacy, and he did get credit (alot) for Kessler. To think otherwise would be foolish.

The thing is mate I can tell you're an intelligent geezer so why not rise above it & make them look small rather than lower yourself to their level?

Hmmm...and whose fault is it that JC remained fighting for the WBO 168 lb. title for many years in relative obscurity in Europe???

Chad Dawson only if he does well against Johnson.

Dawson, Hopkins, Pavlik, Abraham.
The first 3 here.....
Woods (Abraham is the better fighter, but he hasn't beaten anyone and Woods has had a title for a bit, and fought Jones giving him some name recognition). Hell, if no one can come to terms, he can go take Erdei's lineal LHW title.

Calzaghe had his chance years ago when he was wasting his time fighting guys like Salem and Pudwill.
No matter what he does now, he will never crack the Top 50 ATG.

If he beats Hopkins and then Dawson, his stock goes up pretty high on my list. Assuming Dawson beats Johnson and Diaconu
