Where would you rank Freitas all time in the Super featherweight division and how do you think he would do against the best at 130?
He' a shell of his former self, but the guy was a beast in his prime. How would a prime Freitas do against Pacquaio, Barrera, Morales, Marquez, Guzman, Mayweather and the rest at 130 pds.

a fight between the 130 version of freitas and the 130 version of coralles would have been a bloodbath, back when freitas was actually a puncher.

Popo is one of my all time favorite fighters. His decline was a fast.
Barrera, Pac, Morales get ko'd. PBF would probably be too much for him. Possibly ko's JMM and Guzman.

They would all be fun to watch. Guzman would be a nice 12 rdr bcuz Joan
lacks power. The others would outclass him but would be fun to watch.
JMM would punish him.

I expect shits like this.
Older generation fighters are always given the benefit of the doubt when matching with the more recent generations.
Fact is that Freitas' biggest accomplishment at 130 is landing a one in a thousand punch to salvage a win over Barrios who was beating him until it happened - unless of course you put a lot of weight on his controversial win over Casamayor.
Freitas gets koed by Pac, gets schooled by EM, MAB, JMM and Guzman. He also gets schooled/wide UD by PBF.

I dont think that he does 2 well against these guys , might beat some if he fights really well , probably not though . But he DID beat Casamayor , that decision was good

:good
he was not in the same league of those fighters
Come on he would crumble under the pressure of Pac and would get counterpunched to death by Barrera and JMM. He woudn't be able to touch Guzman and PBF and well if Morales goes to war with him well it would make one hell of a fight but considering Morales was not in his prime at 130 its an hard one to call. If Morales counterpuches him Frietas gets crushed...

you have a serious freitas bias.I guess people forget just how good the guy was before his decline. Most of the people on the list are smaller men.

size is the only reason why it would be a debate.
guys who aren't smaller, like guzman and floyd, would handle him.
floyd would've humiliated popo and made him both cry and quit at the same time.
freitas should be eder jofre's servant for a month for claiming that he was better than jofre.
he deserves another beating from the baby bull for even daring to put himself in the same sentence as a true brazilian great like jofre.

Quitter this, quitter that!!! Keyboard warriors eh. You have no fucking right to say that shit, the guy has achieved more in the sport than 95% of others in the game.
Underrated boxer, fighter, and had heart believe it or not.
Prime Freitas defeats MAB, & Pac on his best game. JMM I don't think.

I think he might beat the Mexican trio and Pacman because of size difference, not necessarily because he is a better fighter.

Thats True, I remember watching the Freitas/Corrales fight , and i thought Freitas looked so slick but corrales had the power so that was freitas downfall

I agree with some of the people here who say that he defeats the 3 Amigos (Morales, Barrera, and Marquez) and probably Pacquiao as well. Mostly because he was naturally bigger than those guys, Mayweather would have broken him down, but the early rounds would have been interesting.

Freitas was a very poor man, so he was fighting to give a better life to his family.
He lost his will to be an HOFer during his career. But I think he did have heart until the Corrales fight.
People in this forum have a very shot memory. Easily forgot that Freitas was a Ko machine at 130.
I think he beats Pac, EM, MAB and JMM. Good chances against Guzman. And has the puncher´s chance against Mayweather.
