If Kimbo really lost to Sean Gannon then I guess I would have to go with Lesnar. We'll have to see how Kimbo fares with Tank Abbott and how Lesnar deals with Frank Mir. Then we'll have more idea where each guy is at now.

Kimbo, he seems to be a real powerhouse in MMA, he is one of the few MMA fighters who throw hard punches with good technique.

An excellent wrestler vs. a mediocre striker with rudimentary jiu jitsu. On paper alone, you need to go with the wrestler.

Kimbo doesn't have the sprawl to keep the fight standing, and his basic knowledge of chokes isn't enough to get him anywhere on the ground. My guess is that Lesnar also has better cardio than Kimbo, and he is a far superior athlete.

Brock Lesnar via ground and pound.

Kimbo is probably a lock if he can keep the fight standing, which isn't likely.

Even if he can't stuff Lesnar's shots though, Lasnar might drop like a rock after getting hit just once or twice by Kimbo, No one knows if Lesnar can take any kind of punch at all.

It's still impossible to tell.

thats becaues gannon grapple and used elbows to fight kimbo. that would be like royce gracie boxing roy jones JR and gracie took down JR and started choking him. then the ref brakes it up and eveyone was like gracie won. JR is abitch and the ref tried to help him

:? This fight was never signed.

Tank vs Kimbo originally got cancelled the first time it was supposed to happen because the guy putting up the money for CFFC pulled out , but then they both signed with EliteXC and the fight is on again if thats what you mean .

Not to be mean but, at the time and still now, the above made me lol.

Anyway, I take it that the overall question as to who would win in an MMA fight between Lesnar and Kimbo has now been resolved.

Lesnar would manhandle Kimbo. kimbo is a good street fighter - that is learning the basics of mma - but Lesnar has stellar wrestling credentials. Lesnar would throw Kimbo to the ground in a matter of seconds. He should be able to ground and pound him out from there - if Kimbo can't keep Lesnar out of the mount - then it's lights out.

:good I like Kimbo, he comes across as a cool guy but I believe that Lesnar would beat Kimbo inside 2 minutes Sugar. It's a mis-match and If people doubt this then can anyone seriously consider Brock a potential opponent for Fedor?

Yeah, Kimbo can box a bit but that's all he's got. Lesnar is a world class Wrestler with striking power as well. Lesnar has shown a good chin too while Kimbo has been found wanting...........................

Now would be a great time to have that fight, as soon as Lesnar comes back. It isn't like Lesnar has a weath of MMA experience over Kimbo... it would sell HUGE... and it would just be an nice warm up fight to get Lesnar rolling again and see where he is at.

Of course Lesnar would maul him horribly.

Or the fact that Kimbo was at the time this was posted, and still is, essentially an old man with a smoking habit and absolutely rudimentary skills and no power worth mentioning.

Lesnar would have killed him in damn boxing match or a "street fight" under Kimbo's rules, let alone MMA.

I can't think of a single competitive endeavor that Lesnar wouldn't win, outside of body-hair growing or non cock-tattoo having.
