Who is your fav up and comer or young fighter out there today? I really enjoy watching Chad Dawson. I think he has a bright future. I don't think he's going to be 55-0 or anything, but I see great things for him in the future, starting with Glen Johnson ... your thoughts?

Dodgy chin or not he's always good to watch with his speed and some of his shots.

yeah Chad Dawson is tops but i dont think he can be considered a young up and comer anymore since he beat Adamek. How about Devon Alexander who beat Chop Chop Corley the other day..
Vanes Martirosyan - his a 2004 U.S olympian with an extensive amateur record, he currently fights at 154lb but will probably campaign at Middlweight in the future. He has an exciting aggressive style with a record of 18-0 (12 KO's).

Juan Diaz.
LOL I don't think Juan Diaz can be considered a young and up coming fighter anymore, He's a champion and probably the best in his division.

I dont think that fighters that are already champions can be see as un and comers. So Dawson and Diaz should count.
There are a long list of fighters that I like that will be super-middle and lt heavyweights, lead by Andre Ward. He people are moving him pretty fast, even for a gold medal winner. Which he did at 19. as a pro his victims have had a combined record of 117-40-5. He is big and fast. With all propects If his chin holds up I think that he will be a champion by the end of 2009 and p4p in 2010.
As i said a few months back those guys at 160, 168, and 175 better enjoy their time while it last cuz a new sun is coming Ward, Dirrel, McGirt Jr, and a couple of others are about to shine baby:good :hi:

:good same here. I want to see him with a live body for more than a few rounds, but he looks VERY promising thus far
Andy lee looks pretty promising also... There is a young aboriginal australian guy named William Kickett. Very impressive hand speed and ring generalmanship. Had a very limited amatuer career and turned pro fairly early. In only his seventh or eighth pro fight, beat Tommy Browne who had been the distance with In Jin Chi and competitive vs Chris Johns. Not a bad achievement considering his limited experience. Definitely one to watch. Natural talent to burn. Unfortunatley i don't think he will get the same training that he possibley could in the states.

Yeah Devon Alexander really impressed me, very, very good technically always covers up with his other hand when he's throwing punches, hands always in place, good balance and it looks like he has good power-really twists into his punches. The only thing i didn't like was him screaming with every punch he threw, we've got boxings version of Sharapova  Nah i think he's a champ in the future.

Amir Khan. Yes, I agree he is over-rated, but he is a special talent nonetheless, he has a very exciting style, and if he fought somebody at a decent level he would make it a cracking fight, although I think he would lose, but he's a born entertainer.
