They should still fight each other.

Why? Who the hell wants to see two losers fight each other. Both guys talk alot of trash, and don't have the skills to back it up.

Styles make fights and this would still be an explosive matchup. Arce would win by knockout in an absolute barnburner.

Boxing fans. No belts are on the line. But who cares. You can expect an entertaining war.

Indeed, they were both crude punchers that talked too much.

Is Arce at 115 pounds like Donaire? If so, then Arce I'm sure would also be able to take Vic's punches like Nonito did and deliver crushing blows in return.

I agree that styles make fights, and this would still be a great fight, despite both guys coming off a loss. I don't think Arce has the power to KO Vic, but after tonight who knows? I would make Vic a SLIGHT favorite.

Arce didn't go undefeated in 14 consecutive title fights and undefeated for 8 years by not having skills to back up his talk.

Indeed, they were both crude punchers that talked too much.Oh wow your right I don;'t want to see two guys beat the shit out of themselfs in a possible fight of the year.

It was a waste when Gatti and Ward fought each other what good did that fight do?

Vic is one handed fighter with no defense. Arce has no jab or defense. I wouldn't call either a bum, but people get too hyped up about guys with KO power. Look at Lacey, everyone hyped his ass up, and look what happened when he fought a guy who could box. Both Vic and Arce looked absolutely terrible in their last fights. Why? Because they fought guys who were polished boxers and weren't afraid of them.

The fights I watched him in he didn't do much boxing. Now if he boxed earlier in his career then he needs to back to that.

Arce might fancy his chances now. Vic might also see it as a quick way to jump straight back into the action.
If they fight now, it would have lost the appeal it could have had. Similar to when Judah lost to Baldomir, but still fought Mayweather next.

Go back to boxing? Why?

He's a little guy. He can't be effective as a boxer - he is very effective when he is the aggressor/roughing his opponents up. That's like saying Ricky Hatton should box more.

Arce vs Vic would be a FOTY candidate for sure.

Anyone who calls those two bums isn't a boxing fan.

You'd have to be a total f'n idiot to not want to see Arce vs Darchinyan just because they lost their last fights.

Who cares about belts..put em in like 2 roosters

Arce is a good fighter but linear champion? The guy was never even the proper champion at 112, he held an interim belt. 115 he lost his chance to win a title. Good fighter but not great.

After they both get back on the winning track, I would still absolutely love to see this fight. :good

This is really funny.

A while back ago, right after Arce was schooled by Mijares, Darchinyan fans wondered why the Arce-Darchinyan fight should still push through, thinking that Arce was just a bum who was exposed and who will not stand a chance with Vic.

But now, well. Where are they?:yep

Can't wait to hear their sides.

Arce-Darchi is still an interesting pick 'em fight, though i'd slightly favor the mf'n loudmouth Darchi. Winner takes the winner of the NDonaire-Mijares tiff.

Mijares v. Donaire in the main event. Arce v. Darchi on the undercard. Yummee...
