I'll try to keep people updated on fights, and perhaps do some round by round. (Apologies for getting this PPV confused earlier with another one and thinking it was happening in Europe)

Keep us posted :)
They should of stopped that fight Nog was out
Herring/Nog Round 1. HOLY SHIT!
Nog lands a huge right off the bat, then takes Herring down. He is in side for awhile, but Herring sneeks out. They get back to their feet and Nog is destroying Herring with boxing. He catches him with a few big right hands, bloodying Heath up, and lands two or three big knees. Herring looks about cooked, and out of NO WHERE lands a huge high kick. Nog goes down and Heath falls on top, pounding away. Somehow, Nog stays conscious and the ref lets it go. Nog escapes the round...
WOW
I thought the ref was going to stop it. Nog was taking a beating on the ground...I'm not sure how he made it out of the round.
They should of stopped it he was on queer street. I've seen stoppages for a hell of a lot less.
Round 2 is a little less exciting but still good. Astounding fight so far. Sadly, the UFC fans have booed at least three times in this fight, despite the fact it's been amazing. That first round still has me saying "Holy shit."
Nog gets Herring down and gets his back. It looks like he is about to get a choke, and Herring reverses to get top position. Then he climbs off and tells Nog he wants it on the feet. They exchange some punches, nothing too major. At the end of the round, Nog gets a heavy takedown and lands a few short punches before the whistle.

Round 2
Herring isn't aggressive and doesn't do much. Big Nog gets 2 takedowns and back control. Nog straight lefts. Rnd 2 nog

Me too. Not sure why he let it go...but Nog might pull this off now.
I am so surprised at how often head kicks are being employed now.
Round 3...well, I'm sick of typing. So, let's just say lots of fun on the ground, with tons of reversals. Really entertaining ground work, ala a good Pride fight.

29-28 X3 For Nog
Minotauro wins 29-28 after that blast in the first round. Awesome fight.
I hate watching MMA that takes place in America fans booing through-out the whole fight.
I hate watching MMA that takes place in America fans booing through-out the whole fight.
I was just going to write something about that. I was so pissed when they were booing twice in the first (which was one of the best rounds I've seen in awhile) and again in the second and third. I mean, that was an epic fight. It was so evenly matched. Nog looked like he was going to destroy Herring after the first four minutes, then that huge leg kick changed the landscape. It was back and forth on the ground. Big shots. Some blood. What more can you ask for? That would have gotten a standing ovation in Japan.

hmm so Sherk got that big naturaling??
Sherk dominating the first
Sherk/Franca
Franca lands a big flying knee to the face right off the bat, but Sherk still manages to semi-catch him. Big slam from Sherk, but Franca has a deep guillotine choke from the bottom. He tightens it and Sherk looks cooked. Somehow, he manages to pull his head out. From there, he switches between mount and side control about 5 times and just otherwise dominates Franca on the ground.
Sherk eats a HUGE knee!! Survives
Survives and then dominates again the rest of the round
Round 2.
Sherk eats a big knee and almost drops. Somehow he manages to get on top of Franca, but again, Franca might have a guillotine. He's too high on the head though, and Sherk pops his head. More work from Sherk on the top for about 3 minutes. Then Franca gets a reversal, then he gets reversed, but has a weak guillotine locked in to end the round.
Fans boo at least 4 times...:patsch
sucky fans booing again what an embarrassment they are
Round 3. Sherk with the slam. Sherk changes positions at will but sucks at submissions. He controls Franca, throws in a little lay-and-pray, and otherwise, didn't do much.
Franca needs to do something, Sherk is rolling around like he is with a child
Sherk has one helluva chin, eats another knee

The steroid freak is pretty strong.
Franca starts round 4 with another huge knee, and Sherk lands on top again. I have a feeling this round will be the same. The knees are nice, then it gets slow and plodding.

Hey guys, thanks for the RBR.:good
I have a wager on Sherk.
Round 4 was a lot more of the same.
Franca will only win this if that big knee he starts every round with puts Sherk out. Otherwise, Sherk will wrestle a tired Franca to a decision.

I guess you have to be a hard core mma fan to have respect for sherk?
Sherk wins a decision.
He outclassed Franca, but he has no finish. He basically just pwned Franca via wrestling.
BJ/Sherk would be a fun fight. As awesome as BJ is, Sherk's cardio and BJ's sometimes lack thereof could make it interesting.
Wow I actually liked the fight, ton of ground work great transitions and reversals. These fans are truly ignorant and I am ashamed they are American.

Sherk is fucking boring i mean the guy didnt even try for a finish specially from mount
I guess you have to be a hard core mma fan to have respect for sherk?
Nah, I think he's boring as shit, hah. I love a good ground war, but Sherk doesn't provide that. You know he isn't going to finish it with a sub. He thinks he is in a wrestling match and just switches positions to look good. He doesn't switch positions to actually do anything with it.

Size size size, that seems to be his only advantage.

yah i mean he was dominating and didnt once move for a finish over an over matched exhausted franca
He is a wrestler so he isn't going to do alot of subs, not against a BJJ black belt that wouldn't give him many opportunity. Not very exciting but not anything to boo over.
Where the hell is Jimmie tonight anyway?

Man the weight classes are something I gotta get used to. Didn't expect for them to be in the 200's for light heavys.
Tito/Rashad...eh. Round one was okay. These two make a boring matchup style wise.
Ortiz loses a point in round two for fence holding. Ortiz ends the round with Rashad in a tight guillotine.
10-9 first round Tito.
9-9 second round.
Titos striking is horrendous it looks very awkward

Go Rashad!
I think Rashad thought he was coming to a marathon. He's just running circles around the octagon.
Weak fight, I call a draw
I think Rashad barely wins the third.
This fight ought to be a draw.

Is Silva is the main event?
That's one fight I don't want to see the rematch for. Sucky ass fight. Rashad was just running in circles and defending takedowns. And Tito was following him around, attempting the occasional takedown. Yawn.
I hope Silva comes through in the main event because the last two fights were far from interesting. At least Herring/Nog was AWESOME.
I say another decision!
No, just playin'. I hope Nate wins but we needs a K.O. or sub not another decision.

If your asking about the Tito Evans fight it was a draw.

so ufc 73 is kind of forgettable.
Stoppage due to strikes winner Silva
Silva pounds Nate out.
Overall, terrible card. I had more fun watching nameless fighters knock each other out on UFN10.
Nog by UD
Sherk by UD
Tito/Evans draw
Silva by KO
I don't know why Franklin doesn't want another fight or two. I think Silva is going to pwn Franklin again if they fight in 3 months.
a little premature if you ask me, if they stopped that fight they DEFINATELY shoulda stopped the Nog/HH fight.

I didn't Nate was that hurt, but after the stoppage he did lay there for quite awhile. He didn't exactly argue, either.
So this KenFlo fight isn't live, I'm pretty sure. Yet they were announcing it in the arena after the Silva fight like it was. Odd.
KenFlo wins via first round GnP. Then in his interview he basically calls out Sherk for not finishing fights.
Ugh, got two out of four in my predictions. Never would have thought Rashad and Tito would be so dull.. Reminds me of some boxing matches, one guy gun shy the other guy a runner.

I think Ortiz was more tired then gun shy towards the end.

Ortiz fights always suck. Im not sure why anyone is surprised.
He's made his name by being a jerkoff... not by being a great fighter.

It came out exactly as i expected it to really from the beginning. The only fight that i expected to go other way is Rashad vs Tito. I knew they wouldn't do shit on the ground because their skills would just collide but up top i thought Rashad would be a lot more aggressive than he was. At least his few previous fights were that way.
I enjoyed it overall but i dont think it was the BEST card ever.

the sherk fight was good, the silva fight was good the rest were subpar imo i coulda done without listening to titos mouth after he drew with evans. the point deduction shoulda given evans the win anyway. the florian fight was pretty good too now that i think about it

Sherk looked awesome. Not boring, imo.
Silva fight was stopped a little early.
Nog looked like total crap and overweight.

if they stopped that fight they DEFINATELY shoulda stopped the Nog/HH fight.
One of Nog's, like, gimmicks is his chin. The guy's taken so much punishment in his career and never been stopped that he' probably going to get to go longer than most in a bad postion.
No they didn't stop it because they didn't want Nog to lose, so they let it go.
And Nate I think was just SO disapointed that he just sat there. Not saying he wasn't hurt but he wasn't pounded on THAT badly.
Had to work :fire
That sucks :fire !!!!!
It wasn't THAT great a card anyway Nog/HH was really good other then that Sherk rolled up Hermes with ease although he ate 4 or 5 really hard kness to the chin. The other fights, don't even waste your time.

Oh come on....Silva/Marquardt was great!
Oh come on....Silva/Marquardt was great!
Great???!! How? All it was,was Silva threw a flying knee that Nate caught finally wrestling him to the ground. Nate almost getting caught in a triangle, Silva revesing position and then pounding him out. What was so great about it?

Yeah, it wasn't too great. It was what I expected...a Silva victory. He did what he had to do to defend his title, but it wasn't a back and forth epic, I can tell you that. Better than Rashad/Ortiz though. Man, I hated that fight.
I didn't really like any of them except HH/Nog, and I thought Sherk/Franca was alright. The sheer dominates of the ground fighting was impressive, albeit a little frustrating at times, impressive none the less.

Another real stacked card.
Nearly all of Prides cards were fucking quality. some of those Gps and Final conflicts were the best MMA cards in history.
I reckon 2005 was the best, the middleweight Gp was great, especially the last Final Conflict 2005 with the Fedor/crocop match on it.

Actually I did order it and tape it watched it when I got home. With this job 3-11 I wont be able to be online for UFC events anymore so ill just pay for it and watch when I get home  Was a decent card though I wasnt buying into this being the greatest card ever it was even close to the best UFC cards ever.

They should of stopped that fight Nog was out
Nog's legs and head where lifted, dazed as hell yes, KO'd no.
Yeah there is a 99.9% chance he'd Heath would've finished him off if he'd gone in, but he fucked up and McCarthy made the right call (as usual) of not stopping it then.
A draw? who would have thought that, well Jimmie we'll have to continue on another fight I guess. I'll miss Mercer
