So I just joined a new gym on monday that has a pool. I remembered reading an article a few months back about Juan Diaz and how he said he contributes his great stamina to the laps in the pool he does religiously. Well I gave it a shot today....and wow. My lats and back were burning pretty damn good. In fact I would even say they burned more than when I free-weight lift them. And obviously I got some great cardio in. Just wanted to say that I highly suggest swimming to you guys if you haven't tried it before.

Nah, swimming can be fun. You just have to mix it up, like running. Time yourself, do sprints, switch up your strokes, do 100m of the kick board then 100m of just arms.

I love the pool but I only really play with the floating toys.

I hate swimming. Chlorine makes me all itchy.

I enjoy very much swimming, it can be a nice work-out tool, in addition to running in my opinion. Swimming is good to get stamina, keeps your joints protected and helps develop your back and shoulder muscles

I think swimming is actually less boring than running. But that's just me, because I only started swimming recently.
