View Full Version : Should refs have to give a mandatory warning before taking a point?

I think so. I think they should stop the fight, call time, look the fighter directly in the eye, and say, "1 more low blow and i'm taking a point."

It's getting more and more common to all the sudden see a ref doc a fighter a point out of the blue. I'm like wtf? everytime I see it happen.

If the low blow is really bad then a point should be taken the first time. But if its a minor one then he should just get a warning and then next time a point taken away

i think there should be a warning but if you make that a rule some boxers will think "hey i can give him one good low blow and only get a warning, so aslong as i dont do it again i am good"

good point.

the answer is no, they def shouldnt mandate warnings for any fouls.
