which classic boxer do you compare tyson's skills with?? (head movement, agility, speed, power chin) ??.

in my opinion tyson was the modern day jack dempsey.

Agility, speed, power and chin aren't skills. They are talent and intangiables.

Tyson doesn't have to be likened to anyone. He is simply Mike Tyson.

The comparison has been made before. Others worth mentioning include Terry McGovern and Sam Langford.

With or without Rooney? With Rooney, as you know, Tyson had no equals save Hercules. Without Rooney? More of a Butterbean type.

Battling Torres.

The obvious comparison with the peekaboo style is Patterson.

The obvious comparison with the peekaboo style is Patterson.

Battling Torres was more like Tyson than Patterson. Patterson was more like Tyson crossed with Emile Griffith (in that he would sit back a bit more and box on occasion using a Griffith-esque jab n' bob), whereas Torres looked like a scaled down Tyson; same movements and traits. He just didn't have a very good chin and was probably not quite the hitter Tyson was (in a pound-for-pound sense).

Scam 1: Friend goes into the store with a jacket on, steals an item worth about $40 or so (something that won't set the alarms off), and takes it out to me. I then go into the store with the item and tell them I just bought it and want to return it. You're allowed 3 returns without a receipt in a 6 month period, so they give it to you on a gift card instead of cash. Then we just take the gift card and pay for our booze, cigs, etc. Get a group of 5-6 people in on it and that's like 4-5 months worth of weekends paid for. It's a good way to get by when you're out of a job.

Scam 2: Me and a friend walk through with a cart fake shopping (often outlandishly, throwing in like 18 TV dinners and any random shit we can find, probably not a good way to keep a low profile come to think of it). We go to the electronics aisle, load up about 12-15 video games, then head off to grab a book bag. We load the games in the book bag and then go out to the outside portion of the Garden Center, where I keep watch as my friend tosses the book bag full of stolen games over the fence. The driver (other friend) is parked right outside, so he just scoops it up and drives off, picking us up elsewhere. We take the games to GameStop and sell them for over $22 a pop, then return the book bag (as in the first scam) and get like an extra $50 on a gift card.

Fool proof, so long as you know how to keep your eyes peeled.

I watched it in it's context. Starling was not there to win that fight, he was there to lose. I would say he performed as he had to, otherwise he would've got decimated. One of his defining wins.

Get used to 'shit fights' if you want to watch more Starling, he has some real stinkers (DO NOT WATCH THE 2ND FIGHT)
