K1:
Maurice Smith/Peter Aerts. Smith never beat Aerts out of four tries and was knocked out three times.
Peter Aerts/Ernest Hoost. These two practically owned K1 for the first ten years. No K1 rivalry list is complete without them.
Andy Hug/Mike Bernardo - Bernardo got the "W" over Hug on several occasions, but Hug won when it counted.
Pride:
Wanderlai Silva and Sakuraba. Wanderlai owned Sak and KO'd or TKO'd him every time they fought, but that never stopped Sak from trying.
Sakuraba vs the Gracies. It was quite dramatic seeing Sakuraba fight as many of the Gracie fighters as possible as none of them could dethrone him. It's a shame he never got to fight Rickson as that match up seemed like a natural.
Rampage/Wanderlai - these two are like fire and water and when they fought in their prime it was MMA at it's brutal best. If Rampage had learned how to block knee strikes, these fights could have been different. AS it is, Rampage seems to have evolved, while Wanderlai has passed his prime and is on his way out. That said, a third fight would seem to be warranted as Rampage never got that coveted "W" over his opponent.
