You know as well as everyone else here that the frontpage writers are not getting paid for their articles...it's more like a blog and everyone can be involved - this could also be a point for him to read the site...fans writing for fans...no blullshitting trough obligations aka if pay us for a banner we will be good to you like youknowwhichsites...

I think Steward is honest and on the money for the most part. This is not to say he doesn't boast about is own guys. All trainers and managers say their fighters are better than the public thinks they are.

You got it, Mendoza. A number of guys come through here, it seems. Lyakhovich's trainer, Kenny Wheldon (sp?), was on here after Serguei lost to Briggs, saying that SL had a hurt shoulder. He offered a few little insights that made you think it was really him. He just posted on the general board, in an article on the Briggs-Lyakhovich fight.

Also, there's a guy who posts in the general forum who goes by the handle "Bert Sugar." Is it really Bert Sugar? I don't know, but his writing style is similar.

ESB is read by people all over the world. One of the reasons why I come here is to see the opinions of fans all over the world, and get the latest info on little-known or -hyped fighters in the USA. Honestly, this is my favorite boxing site and it's not close. That's one reason you see many press releases (non-'authored' articles) and ESB-exclusive interviews on the site: The various managers and fighters realize how big the site is and they want to get their message out to ESB's sizable audience.
