If you have choice, who should PBF fight in his next/last fight
so you will be satisfied enough to let him retire as a true champion?

He should be forced to wear the sombrero while walking in the ring with Margarito watching and chomping at the bit to beat him down like Chavez beat downs his crackhead uncle.

If PBF only wanted to fight and win one more fight - it needs to be either Mosley at WW or Taylor at MW. Beating either of those two gives him a victory over another ranked P4P fighter.
Personally, I think he can go retire and waste his money on ho's with 50 Cent for all I care. Of he thinks he's the best - he has a line up of fighters waiting to take him to that level.

I'm a big PBF fan, and if he were to retire right now and in his prime it would be a true shame. He should fight everyone on that list, just so all of the haters on ESB can cry :| :| :| :| ( I'd like to see all of the other excuses that they can come up with to discredit him). To me, a fight with Mosely and Cotto would be enough. I think they both give him a good challenge, and wins over both would cement his legacy.

I voted Cotto, but I don't think one big win is enough for him to be regarded as one of the best fighters of all time, unless it's against JT which isn't going to happen.
I'd like to see him fight Mosley, the winner of Cotto-Margo/Williams. Then maybe Clottey?

I voted Cotto but I would be happy with anythiing that is not DLH

I hope he never fights again. And it isn't because I don't like him, because I do. But, here are my reasons:
He is fighting at too high a weight. He can't make an exciting fight because he can't afford to trade with any of the heavy hitters at 147 or 154. So, every fight is going to be a boring exercise in Floyd's reflexes being quicker than everyone else's and him playing "hit and don't be hit" for 12 rounds.
To get him in the ring now is going to be a major ordeal. He just made about $20M from the DLH fight ($10M base plus another $10M in PPV revenue). There is no way he is going to fight for anything less than $10M at this point. The only realistic fights for him to get that kind of coin are Mosley, possibly Hatton depending on the foreign revenue involved and maybe Cotto or Margarito if Arum is willing to possibly take a loss on the promotion. That is pretty much it. (assuming there is no DLH rematch) Fights with Williams, Cintron, Clottey will never be made because a promoter will take a major financial loss on the promotion trying to satisfy Floyd's demands.
Honestly, I would rather he just goes away than have to deal with having to watch him in technical boring fights and hearing him spout off through the media about how much he deserves to be paid.

SSM. I've been preaching it before the DLH fight, SSM and Winky are the only men in that area who can beat him. Mayweather/Mosley would be a gunfight.
Cotto is a 2nd choice but a fight with SSM is head and shoulders above anything else at this point.

Margarito seems to be shy lately.

beating an old mosley or a green cotto will not cement his legacy..floyd has done more than enough to retire as an ATG.

This is a trick question. On ESB there is no adequate answer to this. Half the people on ESB won't be satisfied unless he beats God on network TV, commercial-free with no knockdowns (with all of his proceeds going to the Make-A-Wish Foundation).

ssm or cotto to me are the only 2 he should consider, but honestly does he really need to fight again??? as a boxing fan i'd love to see him keep fighting.

I'd wish he just retire right now, I don't feel the need to listen to him brag about himself and his money anymore..

drop to 140, go to London, and shut out Hitman Hatton on his home turf, that would be impressive.
Hatton is a weenie.. He needs to come to 147 like he did once before.

Money wise no, but for him to actually start gaining more respect then of course he has to keep fighting.

PBF needs to stop avoiding Margarito!
I'd like to see Cotto as my choice number one, as he'd add the most legacy wise (beating an undefeated champion in his prime).
Mosley as number two because he would be the toughest fight out there.
And Hatton as number three, if it was at 140 lbs.

If he wants to be greater than Robinson, he has to beat: Cotto, Hatton (if he beats Castillo), Mosley, Margarito/Williams winner, Spinks and Taylor.

want Floyd to fight just long enough to lose a step or two, and then get destroyed by a hungry up and comer.
don't worry he already knows this that is why his going to take you racists straight to the bank:lol: just like he did hoya.:deal

Thats why " Hoya" made more money? Thats why if he fights Mosley, " Hoya " gets paid again . Where does the "racists" shit come from? PBF is hated because he is a total asshole, and a caricature of blackness. Terrell Owens probably thinks he's over the top.
FAgtime69 is a racist. He prefers to suck off only Black fighters. And anyone who talks bad about Floyd, is a racist in his book.

I think he should retire and disappear so we don't have to hear from or about him anymore.
As a boxing fan, I'd like to see him continue beating top opponents, whoever they may be.

For his last fight, I wanna see him go against Mosely.
PBF will chose the most $$$ option. I think he is targetting Mosley
saying that Mosley cannot talk money to him. This makes the feeling
that if Mosley could bring bigger money then fight will happen.
Usually in this fashion fans are pumped up to buy more PPVs, and
remenber that Mosley is DLH'yas fighter so fighting Mosley
would bring the same $$$ as fighting DLH for the second time.

I'd like to see him get his mouth shut by Hatton, whether the fight happens or not is another story.
If it does, i'll be there when Hatton takes PBF's throne and ends his career

The Winner of Cotto vs Margarito! if not either of them then he should retire, I would like to see a Mosley fight either way if he isnt willing to take the risk so be it, I havent been losing any sleep knowing he has left the sport.

Everybody will know then that PBF was running from Hatton for years.

It would have to be Ricky Hatton at 140.
If Ricky beats Castillo then he is a great fighter.
Floyd could wrap up his unfinished business at 140 as well as beat a young, undefeated, great fighter.

And he would beat Margarito like he beat Gatti, or worse.
I put Cotto because he's the fighter who IMO will have the greatest career in the coming decade and so would make the smoothest transition from one era of a great fighter to another (more exciting IMO) great fighter. In ten years no one will remember Margarito as anything more than a tough, exciting, limited slugger. Cotto will be much, much more.
