Odlianer Solis Fonte wins yestarday by KO . He needs only 43 seconds to demolish Mazakin .

Where are the skeptics who told that Solis is not ready for Mazakin.
What i saw in his two fights, he will fight very soon for world title. Solis is fighter who can broke all boxing records.

Samual Peter , Alexander Povetkin and Odlianer Solis Fonte are future of heavyweight division and will keep heavyweight for next ten years .

totaly agree with you brother...unshaped solis destroying his opponents...when he is in shape , he will be a huge force...and somes say it is a crayz match-making to take mazikin as his opponent..but we saw that his promoter knows about Solis more than us...

i know "you can't take boxrec's ranking serious, and in fact he's even better than 58th".. blablabla

but it's still a very nice ranking for just two fights, look at this:

right in front of holyfield, hahaha..

Well, Mazikin came to lose, the shot he went down from wasn't that devastating and Solis isn't that hard of a hitter. But still of course a great win for Solis.

It's just his 2nd pro fight and he needs rounds. In the shape he is in no way he can go 12 hard rounds. He needs to get his weight down.

i thought it was very tough matchmaking letting him go in with german champ sidon on his pro debut.
when they said it was mazikin for his second fight......i thought that was crazy!!!

but to blow those out in one round a piece.......that is just unbelievable!!!!!!

Impressive win. He should fight someone like Marion Wilson or Ross Puritty next.

Solis isn't that hard of a hitter.
How can you say that? Based on what?

David Haye then Sultan Ibragimov....

The guys he beat to the 2001 world champs.

Wait for my boy to get in shape......he will do some damage

Based on what?
Based on following his career. I've seen lots of his fights and he isn't a devastating puncher but he is very skilled and accurate that's what usually gets him his stoppage wins.

Impressive win. The Sidon KO was really not that surprising. Sidon was 44 and has been stopped numerous times. This destruction of Mazikin is. I think that Solis is sitting on his shots more now, thus generating more power, and that Mazikin probably has a below average chin. That said Solis, if he comes in at 230, can be a force.

I'm after seeing the shot that put him down and it didn't look too powerful to me at all . Shots can be deceptive though so I'll give both fighters the benefit of the doubt , that Mazikin isn't china chinned and that Solis despite what his amateur career might say is a big hitter .

I'm very impressed with Solis's first two wins..but he needs to get into the 220-230 weight limit to fully be able to utilize his ability. He can get away with it now, but if he wants to have a good career he needs to get in better shape. His condiotning is a big question mark right now.

Remember one think unitas , Mazakin dident get never KO in the profesional. He fights hard guys like Bidenko and Chechenov.

Donīt forget Robert Helenius.

I dont now Helenius Toney but this three are the top for future.
We have more some like Preskar or Boytsov but dident show yet himself like this three.

I think it is a combination. I think that Solis has better power because he is sitting on his shots more, and that Mazikin's chin is a little below average.

I am very excited that there is a new heavywieght prospect who is moving on an unltra accelerated track. But...

...if his problems appear to center around conditioning and dedication, then KOing a bunch of third-fourth tier guys early is NOT what you want to see.

Lets see someone get him into the fourth- uncharted territory for an amateur with two pro wins in the first- and then we can get excited.

That being said, welcome to the pros and best of luck, because god knows we need you as soon as possible.

It was impressive. Though the combo that sent Mazikin on canvas did not look that devastating. The future will tell more. It is always good to see someone new in the HW division.
