Well, whether or not you consider Donaire as American is up to you. But since he was born on the Philippines from Filipino parents, I add him as a Filipino. That being said, there are two Filipino titleholders right now. Donaire and Florante Condes who beat Rachman a day before.

Pacman is the best and most popular the Philippines have, yet he is in everyway not a world champion.

Now we have two. Hopefully they can have a respectable reign at least at par with Luisito Espinosa's WBC title tenure.

Isn't Pac also a title holder? Also, why is Pac not in every way, a world champ?

We're done breh. This is the GOLDEN ERA of filipino boxing. I'm just glad to be alive to see it and live it.

There won't ever be another Pacquiao and there won't be another Donaire ranked this high p4p.

Think of like the roaring 20's..roaring 80's and 90's. All dynasties come to an end.

What the Philippines can do is capatilize and harness as much talent and get as much people into boxing. Its the only sport I think we can be great at and known for.

Shit, I hope someone proves you wrong.. It is pretty unbelievable wat Pac has done & what donaire will hopefully do.

With boxing getting even more popular now I hope someone comes up and keeps the filos up there with champs.

Come on Buboy do your thing, find the next pacquiao :bbb

these guys are ONCE in a lifetime fighters. what's sad is that there may be a dissapointment with talent because the bar has been set pretty high with any up and coming filipino.

All the Philippines has to do is just flood the market and find the next born to be fighter. Man right now, there's a ton of filipinos out there with potential. They just have to be found.

Well thats the feeling I get from the posters in the phils, I tend to agree with that sentiment though. This is why i dont agree with pro athletes getting married in their 20s, it fuks there shit up..

Stay single and fuck everybody, that what i would do :yep

Boxing in the phils must be in its peak interest wise. Crime rate dropping to 0 on fight day and all that, having a lot of poor people like pac was might inspire the next fighting Pride of the phillipines :bbb
