I wanna go back to competing. I wanna win this time. However, the next tournament is still a long way to go and Im kinda getting depressed thinking about my last fight... I can use this time to work on stuff that Im weak on.

Im doing it right now, however thoughts of giving it up are creeping into my mind. You train, you fight, then you lose. It would've been alright if I get to fight every week or even every 2 months. However, you only get to fight 3x a year.

Man almost everyone loses their first fight. Just go train hard and next time will be a lot better.

Everybody losese some, it's not a big dea. There has to be a winner and a loser. Just work on what you and your coach think that you need to improve on and go in to your next fight with the confidence that you didn't waste this time.

How come you only fight that infrequently? Don't you have ordinary club bouts where you're from? Only tournaments?

dude your going to feel even worse if you lose again knowing you were unprepared
but win, lose or draw you wont feel bad if you have trained hard in the gym and gave it your all

Thats what hurts sometimes. You train hard for 2-3 months then you lose.

Learn to enjoy training.

It's not where you end up, it's the ride.

So. Man, guys get so beat up over losing. It's not a big deal. In a boxing match there is one winner and one loser. As long as you do well, improve from your last fight and learn something when you are in there then it really shouldn't matter. Sure everyone hates losing but if you can't bring yourself to go to the gym because you don't want to put in the work because you might lose later....um, well, I don't even know what to say to that.

You dont sound very motivated
You gotta fall down to know how it feels to get back up again right?
Learn from your mistakes watch videos of your competition
Come on man you can do it :thumbsup
