Someone tell me why this didn't happen, they both fought at the same time. Who would've won if this happened?

They were both trained by Eddie Futch and used to spar alot together back in the 70s, they were also both good friends which was probably the main reason they didnt fight.
Frazier would have stopped Norton if they fought.

yeah, norton was awesome...but he lost to most tip-top heavies he fought. He seemed perfect to give ali fits...but i think frazier would have wilted him..also, i think he was an amazing athlete who happenned into boxing, whereas frazier was a fighter to the bone.

They were stablemates and their management wasn't interesting in putting them in with each other, and they themselves wouldn't have wanted the fight.
As to the result, Norton tended to crack under pressure and raw power, both of which Frazier brought to the table in spades. I see him breaking down within eight or nine rounds.

It depends when they fought. IMO, Frazier was past his best by 1973, while Norton had plenty from 1973-1976.
