It's coming up, February 16th, all your hopes and prayers for that fraud known as Jermain Taylor, the ultimate disapointment are going to be flushed down the drain.

A B level fighter is about to knock the head off the supposed 'future ATG' once again and then he will fade into oblivion as a failure and you Taylor apologists will fade with him, in time, in due time children.

The landscape of boxing will be ressurected to the former glory of the best fighters getting the chance to prove themselves at the highest level, over hype job, shit frauds like Jermain Taylor who'd otherwise be gate keepers.

Classless and inaccurate to call Pavlik a "B-level fighter", especially considering he stops either of your hypejobs at 168, however that's another debate (PS - you never PM'ed me to discuss our escrow arrangements for 4/19)

Anyway Taylor gets stopped again easily and hopefully retired

Oh no, are you betting on BHop? You should know better than to make bets with Amsterdam...

Taylor is garbage

He's the HBO suits shoe shiner, it's the only reason he's ever got to where he is. They'll ditch him after this fight, and we won't have to see any further bullshit decisions

Furthermore, he'll be sorted out at 168 and above by a no-name, which will see him fade into obscurity

I seriously don't get how people are picking Taylor in the rematch. Didn't they watch the first fight? The guy doesn't know how to keep his left hand up.

Hey finally someone who thinks it is going to last a little longer. My prediction was Pavlik tko10. I think Taylor is going to try and decision Pavlik, and in doing so will last a bit longer than expected

Taylor will be beat, I expect sooner this time also.

I don't call Pavlik a B level fighter. He has solid fundamentals, power, keeps his hands high, and fights with killer instinct and heart. He has finished his opponents in his division and done so with class. In my book, thats an A level fighter.

Are you calling him B level because he can't beat Calzaghe or Kessler? Since when do we assign letter grades to fighters based on whether they can beat the competition in the weight class above them?

That's how I feel. He's going to go in there trying not to get KOed and last a tad bit longer, but in the end he will be stopped.

I wouldn't be surprised if Taylor got blown out early though, considering, he's just so afraid he leaves himself open and Pavlik booming with confidence takes hi mout.

I disagree with you guys about this.

If Taylor fights like this Pavlik is going to press his advantage and KO him even sooner. Pavlik will smell blood and finish him.

There is a substantial difference between Taylor fighting like this against Pavlik and, for example, Barrera trying this against Pac. Barrera is multi-faceted and can box. Jermain Taylor isn't that type of fighter.

In fact, I think the only way he can last long is to get Pavlik's respect early.

You fools will see. I expect an apology Sunday, Feb. 17th. I've been saying it for months that Taylor is going to knock Pavlik's overrated ass out. He's going to send that one-dimensional club slugger back to the steel mills of Youngstown where he can hit all the tires he wants.

What are you gonna do if you are wrong?

I went against Pavlik when he fought Miranda and also when he fought against Taylor. It's probably my fault because I only really watched 2 of his fights and THOUGHT he was overrated. Now I'm going with Pavlik by KO. Taylor doesnt have very good movement and can't really move laterally that well. Whenever he's being hit he just backs up and kinda stays on the ropes and that's bad against a puncher like Pavlik. Pavlik by KO again.

I called Pavlik TKO7 the first fight, and I'm going with Pavlik in 6 for this one. He'll go back to Youngstown...with a record of 33-0 (30). Taylor is getting knocked out again.

I predicted Pav in 8 for the first fight, but that is the same thing i was saying since the McKart fight:yep

This time I got Pav in 5. All these people who are saying JT will win a decision do not have a source of information. They are just guessing when they Taylor will try to box and move more. If the did a little research, and found out what JT has been saying they would realize he'll come in looking for a ko, and that will lead to Pavlik taking him out in under 5 rounds.

Umm...because Taylor should've stopped him in the first fight. If he took his time and threw straight punches mixed with a couple of uppercuts after the knockdown, he would have stopped him. But, he got reckless; looked like an amateur; threw wild hooking punches and tired himself out without doing any significant damage to Pavlik. Does nobody remember this? I know most of you all hate Taylor, but damn, get off his nuts.

Taylor's new mantra is "I almost had him outta there." He is totally focused on that one fact. He seems to have forgotten that he threw everything he knows how to throw, including head butts and elbows, and still got his ass kicked in the very next round.

Make no mistake about it, the judges and ref will do anything they can to give Taylor a win. All Taylor has to do is be standing at the end of 12 rounds and they will make sure he wins. The judging in the first fight was a disgrace!
